Purchased renewed, but seems brand new. Works perfectly. Will consider renewed electronics for purchase in the future. Less money and help the environment.

my 8 year old cable modem was dying so I tried this instead of 200 new one. So far works great. No more dropping on work computers and smart switches, ring cameras, etc. Distance maybe a smidge better is prev dark areas.

I tried setting this up but it is asking to connect ethernet cable. I do have Ethernet cable but I don’t have Ethernet cable slot in my laptop. Without this it is not allowing me to set up. I tried connecting with customer care but it kept routing to automated system. I will try again tomorrow. Hoping to get connected with customer care and if they can assist in set up. If not, would have to return it back.

This was supposed to be a remanufactured, excellent condition router/modem combo.Purchased to replace an existing one of a different brand that's over 10yrs old, still works just thought it was time for an upgrade.I spent over 2 hours with my cable company messaging than speaking on the phone. This was supposed to take less than 10 minutes.First the QR code was not scanning. Tried 2 different phones for set up. It was a new QR sticker, looked fine, wasn't readable by 2 phones. Tried manual set up. Mac code would not be accepted after numerous tries. After messaging and talking to cable company, having multiple signals sent, swapping coaxal cables, and trying everything else possible the modem would not go online. Most likely something missed when it was re manufactured. It was in excellent condition, looked brand new. Not a scratch on it. Not for any reason would it connect online. Tried multiple locations in the home. Put old modem back and it worked instantly no issues. So a remanufactured like new, excellent condition couldn't hold up to my old one.Cable tech said this brand always seems to have an issue one way or another. They said 9 out of 10 people, brand new, or remanufactured there's always an issue one way or another with this brand.Gonna stick to the old brand when I get another. Works after 10yrs when this one wouldn't work on day 1. Guy said there's a reason there remanufactured and in new condition. There not working brand new so they need to be fixed and they still don't work.Don't make a mistake and purchase this brand. Now I have to go through the hassle of a return.

It came promptly but had a headache to activate with Xfinity. Their reps chat thru the apps.The first one told me to return it to Amazon, as it is still tethered to an old account at Comcast.Last night another rep said he would try adding to my account and he apprised me he did. Today morning another rep gave me a heads-up that it is still tied to an old account. Frustrated I asked the rep to connect me to the manager, she then activated it under my account and untethered. Still, the internet did not work. After countless hours with advanced tech support, they were able to activate it. Still, the bandwidth comes out to be 68MB download on a 200MB account.I called the ARRIS help desk, and they were nice but told me if the cable is connected and ethernet is connected with the desktop and it is taking me to Xfinity activation,the burden lies at Xfinity to activate, which they ultimately did.It's working at half the bandwidth at 3 different speed tests. Spent around 8 hours . Kindly watch out with service providers if it is connected with old accounts.The seller should be responsible for a return.
