Made with cheap plastic. Unless you are attaching an extremely light styrofoam ball, it is bound to fall off… (regardless!)

These are great when you lose the metal attachment of a christmas orb. They fit over the existing stem (if not too long); grooved just right - really nice!. Put a dab of glue inside a cap and place it over the stem of the orb. Move the orb with the newly installed cap from a vertical to an upside down position, alternating between the two positions until the glue thickens and won't run out the base of the cap. They are really pretty and scaled to most of the orbs I've used them on.

Be aware these are not good for glass ornaments at all. Very unh
