I LOVE this garage floor mat. I bought it because my garage is heated without a drain and my garage door kept freezing shut from the melting snow. Since buying this, my garage door hasn't frozen shut and it contains all the melted snow from a ND winter. It was really easy to put down and is long enough for a larger vehicle. It makes my floor not slippery which is a huge bonus.

I recently took ownership of a vintage British roadster. I wanted to keep in my garage, which had previously been redone with new lighting, new interior paint, a HVAC system, and most notably a new floor, with epoxy coating. Now if you know about ~50 year old British cars, they tend to leak fluids with great regularity. I didn't want my spotless floor to get stains all over it. so this garage floor mat seemed to be just the ticket. The size of the mat is generous, it's more than wide enough to fit a typical car and probably most 1/2 ton or smaller trucks. It's more than long enough for my Triumph, and could easily accommodate a longer vehicle. The material isn't super thick, but it seems like it's enough to handle most oil leaks (I do use a piece of cardboard on top of the mat to hedge my bets). It comes folded/rolled up, I decided to unfold it and let it unfurl for a couple days before I put into place. It comes with double sided tape, but it ended up perfectly flat, so it wasn't needed. It's good product if you need a garage mat that can cover the footprint of an whole car.

I painted my garage floors the cheap way with basic cement paint and bought paint chips for added looks. The problem is hot tires from driving on the roads and winter gunk will wear off the paint. This garage carpet rug with rubber backing is affordable and will provide the protection of both.So I have $250 total into the garage paint, paint chips and Carpet rug compared to a pro paint of $4000 plus. After winter is over you can gently use a power washer and broom or squeegee to clean the carpet to the outside. Also a few mentioned wrinkles and folds when receiving. A easy fix after leaving it lay flat on floor for a few days is take a small towel and a steam clothes iron and steam out those real quick. My box came without the double sided tape but wasn’t planning on using it based on other reviewers say g buy double sided better quality carpet tape. My local Menards had indoor/outdoor carpet tape and used that for the entire underside.Directions say place tape in certain spots which might do and they don’t send enough tape for entire perimeter then you won’t wish you had later and have to fix anything.Start with tape on one short end, then do one long side, then other long slide and finish with other short end.

It does what I wanted it to do - absorb the excess water from the car when it’s been raining or snowing. I should have bought a bigger one. My Soul is a smidge too big for it.

We just moved into a new house and the builder did a bad job of cleaning the basement, with lots of dust coming up. We decided we needed a floor covering even though it's an unfinished basement. The mats were as effective and economic as we could find. We considered rubber rolled flooring, commercial carpet and rubber tiles, all of which were way too expensive. We needed 8 of the 22' x 8'10" mats to cover 1500 square feet, and it worked out very well. Its made a real improvement in how the basement looks. The tape provided wasn't very useful, and we also discovered that tape wasn't sticking to the floor anyway. We ended up using construction adhesive on the edges, which seems to have worked well. The folds in the mats were a concern and we only tied down one edge and came back and stretched the mat a bit the next day. Maybe necessary as the fold lines seem to have settled over a week or so. We are careful about dragging anything heavy over the seams. The mat is dropping into the concrete stress joints and we might pull them up and fill the joints. We will see how things go over the next few months.

We've used this for 2 winters now and it protects the wood floor very well. It stays in place and is easy to clean. I generally just use a leaf blower if the mud/sand is dry. It doesn't show any signs of wear yet.

This lies flat, is easy to clean and looks great. Much easier to walk on than my concrete garage floor. After a few days the creases disappeared, and it lays very flat, and doesn't move, even when I drive on it. I am saving up for 3 more.

My wife and I recently epoxied our garage floor ourselves, it was a ton of work but worth it! Even the best epoxies will start yellowing where the tires drive over time, leaving yellow tracks in the garage. To combat this, I bought this mat. The pictures were taken just minutes after pulling it from the box an laying it out. Several reviews state they had trouble with the corners not laying flat, using double sided tape, being too thin, ect. I didn't have any of these issues, nor do I think it is too thin for the purpose I purchased it for. As long as you don't try to adjust your steering wheel too much the mat will stay in place. I actually like that it is thin, it makes it easy to handle and lay out to your liking. The rubber backing is nice and seems to have a nice grip on the epoxy. Time will tell how this holds up over winters, but again what I'm really after is protecting the epoxy from direct tire contact. If it holds up I'll purchase another one for the other side of the garage. At that time I'll also update this review.UPDATE: After having the first one all summer, I purchased a second one for the other side of the garage. I thought it did a great job protecting the epoxy finish, as you can see I added a picture with the first mat I purchased pulled up, showing the bare floor. It is true you can power wash the mat out as advertised, I just did this earlier today and it cleaned up nicely. You can tell the difference from the mat I had over the summer as opposed to the one I just bought as the first one has faded a little, not a deal breaker though. The real test will be seeing how these hold up over the winter. I'll post another update in the spring when I clean them out. My recommendation still stands.SECOND UPDATE: I still like these mats very much. Although after two winters I had a hard time getting all the midwest salt out of them with my power washer since they do absorb a ton of water. Wear and tear and multiple washes seemed to wear out the mat and it certainly didn't look as nice as when it was new. Anyone dealing with heavy municipal salt in the winter is going to have to put more work into maintaining these mats. If you live in a climate that mostly sees rain you'll get far more life out of it. I still like them and I recently purchased a replacement. At the end of the day the mat takes the wear and tear and helps protect the epoxy which is ultimately what I wanted.
