Good product but terrible spray bottle. Doesn’t work. Fix it before others buy it

I thought it worked pretty good but I thought it would repel please better considering it smells like a citronella candle when I sprayed it on my dog he has skin irritations and it seemed to burn a little bit or be a little uncomfortable and it's hard to keep him still to spray it on him he don't like spray bottles so soon as he sees me start to spray it he runs and tries to get away from me it'd be a lot easier if it was a lotion if they made it in a lotion it would be so much easier to apply to him but it does work good

Firstly, I don’t use pesticides on our dog, so all natural product is one line of defense. We took our long-haired goldendoodle to Louisville & Nashville this week where spring is budding earlier than at home. I bathed her in the ARK Naturals flea and tick shampoo before we left on the trip. I forgot to use any repellent before a morning potty break downtown Louisville where she found the tallest grass she could find to poo in, like she does, and I found her first tick, attached, about 8 hours later right after a distillery tour (before which I had wiped another natural product wet wipe on her). I had to keep my breakfast down while we drove to a pharmacy for alcohol and tweezers and my partner pulled that sucker out like a pro, head intact. We only found the one tick and that could not have been from the tour due to timing (it takes a few hours for ticks to attach). I realized we were no longer in Kansas (I mean, Michigan, where it had just snowed), so I used the ARK Naturals Neem Protect spray just before an outing at a farm outside Nashville a day later and did not find any ticks after! She was rolling in the roughly mown fields with a bunch of kids for at least a couple of hours. For those saying “does not work” - this is a repellent essential oil spray. It will not remove fleas and ticks once on/attached to your dog. It will not poison your dog’s blood (like a pesticide product) and kill them off if already feeding. It will, however, repel pests and soothe skin. Pre-treatment before outdoors is essential. The shampoo (PER INSTRUCTIONS) will help with fleas and also to drown them if soap suds are left on for 5 minutes, then the spray is used after fur is dry from bathing to repel and also soothe bites or irritated skin.I’m sensitive to the smell when I first spray it on the dog or am enclosed in a car with her right after use, but my pup doesn’t seem to mind it and likes the extra rub down before an outing.I spray this product on her wet brush and brush through her long hair to get it all the way to the skin and for even application. I make sure to spray her paws down really well for walks through shorter field grasses, woods, etc.Neem oil is an excellent natural, pet-safe pest repellent that is as effective as DEET and can be used in conjunction with other natural oils to repel.

I purchase this spray and use it weekly for use on our three large dogs to keep insects (fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and more) from biting our dogs. It works, too. Bugs hate the smell. It's tolerable for me. I cover their faces and spray on their heads, neck and body. Once a week does the job. Reapply after rain and baths, though. Easy to use. DO NOT USE on cats. Cats will lick it and it can make them deadly ill. Safer than deet, etc. Doesn't harm animals or humans. It's the odor that keeps bugs at bay. Used it this summer to keep the southern buffalo gnats from biting all of us and it worked.

Bought at the beginning of summer as my dogs had a small amount of fleas for a time. I only spotted (they have fine coats) 2 or 3 at a time on their bellies. It tool a couple of weeks of daily spraying on their tummies but combined with good house/vehicle maintenance and garlic its done the trick

Have used this on my dogs while in the south of France and Northern Italy. It kept both mozzies and sandflies at bay and they didn't seem to get any bites from anything at all. I even tried it on myself as I don't like to use chemical products that contain deet. I didn't get one mozzie bite in 3 weeks! I don't know if it's meant for humans but it certainly didn't seem to do my skin any harm.

Seems to work quite well in terms of deterring most biting insects. He is not keen on spray? smell? but tough! Not sure about fleas and ticks - not had the former and have had the latter!

bought this for myself an the dog!! We were both getting eaten alive in the field were we do agility in the evenings!! This is safe for the dog, as there is NO Deet in it! Deet is toxic to dogs :-( we've not been bitten since, I'm please to say. I did find lots of recipes on the net for insect repellant, but by the time you'd bought all the essential oils, and a spray bottle to boot! this worked out cheaper.

We used this product because we wanted as natural a product as possible (if that's possible) to use on our Bichon. We took him for walks in the woods and found we had no issues with fleas or ticks. We really didn't like using flea products offered on the market as the chemicals in them (in my experiences) are toxic long term. When he did have a tick, we found it dead or very easy to remove. He was a white dog so easy to spot. The one thing I nor my dog was too fond of was the smell. If you like Eucalyptus, no issues. Before we went for a walk, just took him out on the deck and sprayed him, avoiding his eyes and mouth. Really, you can just spray in your hands and rub around the ears and neck.Product works well and will use again.

I used the shampoo a week ago. I had no problems with the odor. I used the spray right before we were going to go on a walk. My yorkies are tick magnets. I didn't find one bug on them after coming out of the woods. Maybe it was a lucky day or maybe it was the product, but I find that when I use neem products, they never come back with anything. However, the smell just about killed me. I didn't realize it had citronella in it. I have bad allergies and am sensitive to smells. Certain strong smells give me headaches. My nose is filled up today (a day later) and I have another headache. I'll use it again because I bought it and dont' want to waste it, but I'll wash them right after so that they aren't sleeping with me with the smell on them. This is a good company. I have liked the products I have purchased from them.
