Optimised for High Static Pressure
Because the fan design of the P8 Slim PWM PST is optimised for focused airflow, it generates high static pressure. The fan enables extremely efficient cooling and good airflow - even with increased air resistance. This makes the P8 Slim PWM PST particularly well-suited for use on concealed case intakes, dust filters, radiators, and generally in small cases that have little space for free airflow due to compactly placed hardware.
Maximum Quietness, Minimum Vibration
The operating noise of the newly-developed ARCTIC motor is barely perceptible, even at the lowest speed. Thanks to its special magnetization, the motor of the P-fans generates no start-up jerks and only a fraction of the commutation vibrations of a conventional DC motor. As a result, there is far less vibration on the housing at different speeds and no need for rubber buffering or additional decoupling.
Improved Service Life
The new ARCTIC motor generates significantly less frictional heat than its predecessors and current competitor models. The lower coil temperature therefore multiplies the service life and reduces frictional losses for more efficient operation.
300 to 3000 rpm Controlled via PWM PST
With a wide speed range and innovative PWM Sharing Technology (PST), the P8 Slim PWM PST's fan speed can be controlled in sync with other fans. ARCTIC's PST fans come equipped with their own built-in daisy-chain solution, and, in addition to the plug-in connector, have another socket to which an additional fan or up to four other PST fans can be connected in series.
High-Quality Sleeve Bearing
Thanks to a combination of alloy and lubricant developed in Germany, friction within the bearing is minimized and greater efficiency is achieved. In addition to preventing lubricant loss, wear on the pin and sleeve is also reduced to a minimum. Less heat is developed, less bearing noise is generated and the life of the fan is extended significantly.
0dB Mode - Zero rpm
The speed of the P8 Slim PWM PST can be throttled down to a standstill via PWM. This allows efficient and silent PC operation in idle while guaranteeing maximum performance on demand.

Perfect for what I needed.Needed a smaller, slimmer fin to fit in my ITX build and these worked like a charm. Really nice fans with great airflow.I ended up 3D printing a couple shields/guards for the fans so that none of my cables got caught in the fan blades.I will be purchasing more of these in the future. Really good.

Taille fine pour le ventilateur de porte du boîtier. Très silencieux et doté d'une connexion à 3 fils pour contrôler la vitesse. J'ai utilisé un cordon multiprise à 3 fils pour le connecter au 2e ventilateur de porte et au 3e ventilateur du panneau avant, puis je l'ai connecté à la carte mère. Cela m'a permis de contrôler via l'application Windows / Asus Fan pour réduire la vitesse et le bruit de ces ventilateurs d'admission. J'ai utilisé la deuxième fixation de la carte mère pour les ventilateurs d'extraction en haut et à l'arrière avec un autre câble multiprise à 3 broches. Excellent ventilateur, surtout maintenant qu'il est contrôlé par la carte mère et qu'il ne souffle pas quand il n'en a pas besoin.

I installed it into Hyte Revolt 3 case and configured to work at low RPM (30-40%). It reduced GPU hotspot temperature by 10 degrees. I think it's a great result for such small and relatively silent fan.

This fan is very thin and small, allowing you to use it in many applications other than for cases. For example, I have an LSI 9211-8i SAS controller in my PC, this card gets notoriously hot and comes with a dinky little heatsink and no fan. I attached this fan to it with zipties and a bit of luck, works perfectly and the card no longer thermal throttles. I expect this would be an excellent solution for PCIe networking cards of the 10gbe+ caliber that also get hot when loaded up.

Got these because they fit in my small ITX case. Helped drop my GPU temps by 5° easy. Quiet, simple, slim, and well priced. I wish it was more clear which direction the airflow was before installing (no info provided in box), but not a big deal.Overall best bang for buck on my PC.

These are a great option for 80mm slim fans, I was a little leery because in the past I have had Arctic P12 fans in the past and they always made a humming noise at certain RPMs but these are very quiet. I run 2 at 1700rpm and they are not any louder than a 120mm slim fan that is also in the system running at 1200rpm. The cables are very flexible and easy to manage and the daisy chaining is great so you don't have to buy splitters. At first I was disappointed by the lack rubber on the corners for dampening but the marketing is correct in saying that these fans have very little vibration, so it is unnecessary. If you need a slim 80mm fan I would highly recommend these

I have no complaints at all. Very quiet, moves air and is a static fan, so it is nice for front panels/radiators,etc. I personally installed 2 of these in my older,smaller HP computer. Used 2 for the front panel which has some plastic obstuction. These fans pull air through that, no issues. Nice quality fans, they work great. Thanks!
