A week ago I tried the parafin wax bath. That took over ten pounds of wax to cover my wrist. The glove supplied to go over the wax was too thin to help the area warm for longer time period.This gel band works great. Heats up Hot - too hot if you heat it for 40 seconds. Try it for 20 seconds. You can put it in the freezer to cool it too. I am confident that it will work for you to. One thing is that the medium size felt tight.

Over all, works pretty well. It fits my hand comfortably, with or without the strap. It holds cold ok but after 10 minutes it starts to warm up.

I wiped out on the ice and sprained my wrist. I tried several of this type of product before I found one that actually fit. I ended up with a medium of this one (I have small wrists but the small was too small).The medium went on easily, but fit snugly and after 20 minutes it was easy to take it off. I have only tried thee cold therapy, so I can't speak to how the hot feature works.Good value and product for the money.

Great product...works very well. It's very comfortable and gets very cold. Like all the other reviews observed, the cold lasts for about 20 minutes. l have not tried the pack hot yet. I recommend this product.

I am SHOCKED how nice this is!! The ENTIRE sleeve is a cold pack and it's soooo comfortable. It's in the freezer right now getting ready to save my hand from sure destruction. I have carpal tunnel in both hands, which flared up terribly when my son was born. It's been 19 years with no pain until I started painting last week. My thumb muscle was so sore and would not get better! I couldn't even hold my phone!With a little research, I discovered that my pain in my thumb muscle is from my carpal tunnel syndrome! I did not know that the two were related.After several days wearing this wonderfully comfortable ice wrap, my hand is almost completely healed! Then, while pouring cream of wheat in a bowl, I burned my pinky at the base. Ouch!! I immediately grabbed my ice wrap and put the opposing thumb on my pinky! It saved that burn! No blisters!IDK... Do you think I love this ice wrap? Yep... You will, too. Just get it!

The wrap fit well and was very comfortable. I needed it for severe arthritis in my thumb. The real problem with this unit is that it gets almost too hot after 20 seconds in the microwave and then only stays warm for about 5 min. I was hoping for something that would stay warm for at least 20-30 minutes so I was very disappointed. If I knew how quickly it cooled off, I wouldn't have ordered it.

This cold pack was a great purchase! It is extremely comfortable to wear and gets very cold to ease any discomfort in you wrist or thumb. The sizing was perfect and it was easy to pull on and off. I have not yet used it for warmth but the cold feature was excellent!

These are super cold. I ordered small but they could be smaller given they slip on and off. My biggest issue is there is an 1 inch gap along the hand and thumb seams, so the outer portion of my wrist and inner portion of my thumb doesn't get the benefit of the cooling gel. Yes, the straps provided can help close the gap on the wrist but overall I found the straps annoying. The velcro sticks to everything when trying to put these on by yourself. In hindsight, I'd love to find a glove that had the cooling gel around the entire hand without any gaps. I'd shop around given I paid about $34.00 for the two, especially because they don't cover the entire hand.
