I was looking into portable air conditioning options for a small office space and was disappointed by the options until I can across this little device. With just a cup or two of water and an available fridge or freezer, relief is within reach!This air cooler uses the power of evaporation and a strong fan to make the air that flows through it quite a bit colder than the surrounding air. It couldn't be easier to use, you add some water to the top section, ideally keep the cartridge inside (a little frame with small sponge-like structures that hold water, ideally cold/frozen) frozen until you're ready to use it, and just hit the power button and you're feeling cold air in seconds.The box has a fan at the back that pushes the air, and you can adjust the flaps at the front to direct the air up, down, or straight out. If immediate and affordable coolness isn't enough for you, it also adds mood lighting to it's line-up of features and functionality, cycling through various LED colors to match your vibe of the day. Not at all necessary for its core functionality, but hey - why not! Multi-purpose!Overall, it's been a godsend for stuffy rooms, or when one of us is feeling hotter than the other and just needs a little zone of coldness to hang out in. Definitely recommend for anyone with a stuffy office, room that never quite cools in the summer, and doesn't have the option of installing a fully functioning portable AC unit.

I ordered this portable air cooler for an RV. This unit is compact and easy to set up and use. It is powered by a USB cord. The instruction booklet is precise and easy to follow. The booklet claims that the cooler will run on high for up to 8 hours and 12 hours on low with one tank of water. The unit comes with a cartridge filter. The cost of a replacement filter on Amazon is $12.99. An entirely new cooler is slightly over $25 on Amazon. The filter is easy to clean. The filter can be placed in a dishwasher, it can be hand washed, or it can be placed in a microwave to sanitize. The airflow can be felt at least 6 feet away. There is a turbo setting, which increases the airflow but also increases the noise level. The noise level is a lot like a hair dryer on a low setting. The noise level at high speed or turbo might disrupt one who is trying to sleep, but at low speed the noise level is quite tolerable. The unit has lights, the color of which you can change. Conveniently, you can turn the lights off for sleeping at night. I would recommend this unit to cool a small space.

I have zero windows in my office, I have to keep my door locked at night so I come in the morning and it is SO hot after being closed up all night. This is AMAZING. I ran it for about ten minutes before I had to shut it off because it was SO cold. I am shocked something so little can cool down a room so fast! Easy to set up and use, some noise but nothing overly loud or annoying while I work, this is a lifesaver! Worth every penny for the comfort it brings to me!

This little fan is powerful! Though the description says it will run for 10 hours (depending on speed, etc), I found that I needed to refill after about 5 hours. I think that a bigger water tank would take care of that. The unit itself seems well-made. It doesn't seem at all flimsy, despite the nice low price-point. The air cooled quickly, and I like that the unit is lightweight enough to move from room to room without difficulty. I am looking forward to using this unit during the coming hot summer months.

This arctic chill deluxe is in fact deluxe. It works lot better than the original arctic chill air conditioner fan. This fan works over 9 hours close to 10. Which is a very long run time! For me personally being used on medium to high level, it may last 4-5 hours but still a good decent time frame til another charge is needed. It is decently sized and is very powerful. It’s portable and perfect for lake trips or beach trips. Even just park outings. This fan is very nice to have even indoors. Can’t wait to keep using this powerful fan.
