So these are essentially all the same. To help everyone, here is how it works.Sensor, white foam pad faces ground. Depending on where and how you mount it. I mounted inside bumper as its intended so foam is against bumper inside surface. But it faces the ground no matter what.Red wire is your on/off power supply. When red is hot unit is alive as long as you have a good ground hooked up anyway.Black wire is ground wire.Green wire is signal output. Signal output is switched on/off ground signal wire. So when you kick sensor that is powered on, it supplies a signal wire that is closed to ground. Then resets back to open circuit.White wire is an accessory hot wire. When hot from key on accessory, the unit is in bypass mode. Meaning it active and on, but ignore kick signal or obstacles you would drive over.I wired mine up with keyless approach lighting turning unit on via red wire. White wire not used. Green signal wire goes to trunk electric open button on license plate trunk lid. Ground tapped to frame terminal.So walking up to push button start, unit wakes up from approach lighting. Works perfect. Once started the unit shuts off as approach lighting turns off once in gear.No false alarms at all. No missed kicks not opening trunk. I have identical car with oem kick to open, this works just as well. This is on a 2022 Cadillac with Global B latest technology. I ordered this sensor to replace the one that came as a upgrade to my power liftgate add on. It connected the same as the one that came with my kit at a much more reasonable price. It is very sensative and picks up signals real well. It actually works better then the factory sensors on my other vehicles.
