The weight for this item is just right. It stays on the floor of the above ground pool. Not heavy at all when you push or pull it. The tires have ball bearings inside so hopefully these balls will not rust in chlorine water over a period of time

We have a 18ft above ground pool and have used the triangle shaped vacuum for the last couple of years. This one is so much better. It’s heavy so it sticks to the bottom of the pool, no lifting and has way more suction power. Very impressed. The only thing I would change would be that the wheels would rotate 360, they are only able to move forward and back. This causes me to lift up vacuum to use at a different angle. But overall highly recommend

I really thought this would be a great vacuum by the way it was described and I liked the weight of it when I received it. But unfortunately, I didn't actually try it out until after the 30 day return window had passed since I had purchased it in the off season. Then when I went to use it, I was very disappointed because it was horrible. The brushes on the bottom are too long, so it totally prevents the rollers from actually rolling on the surface of the pool. Since the brushes can't just be removed, I basically cut them down as far as I could with a pair of really strong scissors and hopefully it will help the rollers be able to move better. I figured it's worth a try before just throwing it in the trash.

It's weighted nicely. Doesn't float. Use once per week in conjunction with robot cleaner. Using in salt water pool and had rust at wheel connections and bolts after about 2 uses. I do rinse after use. But overall decent.

The idea and concept are great. The weights holding it down is a great idea. What I didn't like was the brushes on the bottom. They go down below the rollers and make it hard to roll. Instead of the rollers coming in contact with the pool surface first the brushes do making it hard to push and vacuum.

The Aquatix Pro Pool Vacuum Head is a very well made vacuum head for a pool!! We bought this for our above ground pool. It attaches easily to our pool hose. It is easy to maneuver around, change directions to vacuum all the dirt, leaves, bugs that end up at the bottom of our pool. I like the smooth edges on it, I can push it around without the worry that I will damage the liner on our above ground pool. Other vacuums I have used have sharp corners that I worry could puncture or tear the pool lining.Works great in a short amount of time I can vacuum our large above ground pool!! Surprised by the low price for how well this works!!! If you need a quality vacuum head for your pool, BUY the Aquatix Pro Pool Vacuum Head!

I'm sending this back for a refund. The packaging was fine but the vacuum head was broken. One of the weights was broken out when it was assembled at the factory with the single screw. There is no way to attach the weight with the screw. I suppose it could be glued but there were other issues anyway. There are brushes on the underside of the vacuum head (which were either not mentioned in the description or I somehow missed. The brushes hold the head off the ground so the wheels do not make contact. I'm not real sure what the wheels are supposed to do at this point. The wheels cannot be adjusted down, so with the vacuum on it is really hard to push across the floor of the pool. Plus the brushes are not adequate to brush the sides of the pool so I will be still using a brush anyway. I just wanted a vacuum, not a brush. Also, I did not get a wing nut as shown in the pictures. I received a little white PLASTIC nut that came off when I tried it out. NOT professional grade at all. Also my original vacuum head had sealed weights. These are not sealed, and the weights are made of steel which will rust immediately. I would't want rusty water coming out of that into my pool.
