Does not pick up any debris, the bristles are all the way around making anything at the bottom impossible to get through.It's awkward and heavy and does not glide along the bottom of the pool because of the bristles.I noticed with my other vacuum, the whole outer edge is plastic, (shown in my second Picture) the bristles are in the center, and they are staggered, allowing debris to get through.Definitely don't waste your money on this, it does not work.
