Not happy with the kit as a whole. The net is a joke, not attached to the extendable rod and cant see how it should even stay in the rod. The scraper is soso. The brush is alright. The greatest tool in the kit is the suction attachment. Love the on/off is a must for multible times empting a bucket. 2 primes usually and the water is flowing.

I have never had one of these siphons, so I was not sure what to expect. It was disappointing that no instructions came with this set. But I went back to the listing and watched the videos. They were instructive.But I soon learned that this set is meant for larger aquariums than my 5 gallon one. The siphon works very well, but draws the water very fast. Too fast to effectively clean a small tank, but would work great in a 40 gallon one.You get some nice extras with this set. There is a nice sized net with an expandable handle, a scrub brush and an algae scraper. I was unable to use the algae scraper or the brush on my acrylic tank, but they would work well on glass.I took off a star because I wish there had been instructions and that the listing would have given more indication that this works best with big aquariums.

This is a very basic aquarium cleaning kit. It does include the syphon with attachments, algae scrapper, corner brush and net. The syphon hose is too short of anything more than a 10 gallon tank and that's pushing it. The starting bulb size compared to hose length is hilarious. After attaching a different length of hose it works for most of my tanks, flow control is kind of hit or miss. Corner brush and algae scrapper both work as intended. Net is telescoping but tiny.
