I use this with fishing line to make filter bags to add to filters that don’t have them or to customize the media, and to add new physical filtration. It does a great job at what it’s made for. It comes in a large sheet last a long time it’s easy to clean or can be disposable. This helps maintain water clarity and is easy to use. Great value!

Wish I read reviews before purchasing,Picture is nothing like the product .. this is like a paper towel. Extremely thin. Too thin for what I need it for. It comes folded up in a tiny pad. 12 x 72 but I’ll have to fold it into a 12 x 14 to be useable so I just paid $20 for a single use filter floss… crazyBuyer beware.Will have to purchase a different brand.

This product does a great job of filtering out my tank . Water looks nice and clear . Have to cut to fit but it cuts like paper . I would recommend to anyone

I prefer to use sponges and filter floss in my tanks rather than the carbon cartridges meant for the filters. This keeps my healthy bacteria counts and means that I can easily take some filter floss from an already cycled tank to start a new tank up quickly. This stuff has the perfect amount of density. I've even used it in sponge filters with some Purigen to remove some of the brown tannins from the water. The tannins stay in place but the water is just a bit more clear. The large amount included in this one also means I won't have to purchase any new floss or filters for a very long time. So far I'm loving this deal.

This aquarium filter can be cut to fit your specific canister filter. The material is long and can provide multiple coverage and will last a while too.

I have been using this for my aquarium, however I wish it was thicker and had more structural integrity. Otherwise it works well.
