These no name filters work better than the name brand. Keeps it cleaner and water stays clear from cleaning to cleaning. I have a five gallon with a betta and two mystery snails. 🐌 they recommend you buying these for your aquatic friends.

These are nice replacements for the originals. They seem just of good of quality and you can save quite a bit. However, I have replaced the filters with my own bio-media and I find it much more effective than these. Some coarse foam, poly fill, and some ceramic rings in a mesh bag. Plenty of surface area now for the beneficial bacteria to grow. But if you want more ease of use, these are fine.
