This pump does about 150 GPH of air and is really, really quiet. The only noise is from the actual bubbles in the water, and it works fantastic!

I ordered this to replace a different brand which was very loud. The reviews were good on this pump so I said why not... I'm extremely happy that I did. I will be ordering another one for my other aquarium. First, it's silent. Like really, really quiet. I love the adjustable flow option. It has great power. I have two 12 inch airstones connected to this and it has no problem creating bubbles down the entire length of the stones. Second, is the value for the dollar. This was less expensive than the name brand pump I was replacing and it easily out performs the old one. Highly recommend.

Great pump! The only way that I can tell if it’s running is to look for the bubbles in the tank! Extremely quiet. It has two outlet ports. I enjoy the adjustable flow feature. It allows me to change the activity of the air flow volume. It comes with 1 check valve, 1 shutoff valve and 1 y splitter. You will need to have or purchase additional check valves, tubing and air stones. Even an additional shutoff valve would be nice if you want complete control of both sides of the pump. Since I have just received the pump and installed it, I cannot say as to the longevity of the unit; but, so far I am very impressed with this pump.would I buy it again? Definitely!

I’ve owned many pumps over the years, and this one is by far the best in terms of quality and quietness. Spend the extra $10 and get this one over the others on Amazon. It’s super quiet at 20dB, compared to the $16 pump I originally bought, which claims to be "whisper quiet" but is actually very loud, around 40-55dB.

First off, the power button is next to not functional as others have mentioned. Laying the pad of your finger on it for about 4 seconds will work maybe 10% of the time. The company really needs to do something about this.I had this running 4 sponge filters and a HOB breeder box (10g and 2, 5g) and on the third option it had them roiling. Very impressed. It’s currently just running one filter as I need to move my other tanks over to where this one is.You can’t hear it, at all. I don’t even have it in the cabinet, it’s on top and my stand is located in my foyer, right next to my living room.Sure you can hear the bubbles but not a sound from the pump, I’ll be buying a second one once I get my 50g set up.

Definitely the most quiet air pump , it makes no noise at all. It is very powerful I have it on level 3 and it blows a lot. Love the color and design. The only thing I dnt like is having to have it above the tank. I know I could probably insert a back flow so water does not backup into the pump but eh. Definitely worth the money.

I've been through so many air pumps. I like to keep my tanks near where I work so I can enjoy my hobbies throughout my work day, and I cannot stand the sound of noisy air pumps. The only way I have found to make an air stone system work in my office is with cheap little $5 USB air pumps that barely move enough air for a small tank and wear out after a year or less.This beautifully-crafted pump makes almost no sound and has digital power adjustment where other manufacturers just constrict the air flow to adjust it. The touch-based digital power adjustment controls are a really nice touch and it actually looks good on the shelf.A note: when I first plugged it in I thought other reviewers were crazy or I just got a defective unit because it was quite noisy. However, as soon as I connected the airlines and air stones and submerged them the sound disappeared completely and all I could hear was the gentle wafting of bubbles in my tank.

Arrived safely but did not work it lights and does not pump any air through so had to return it ...did not last one hour very poor quality for the price really sorry I would not recommend...

I have a 15 gallon tank and had a smaller 4lpm pump that would work amazingly well with new air stones but after a week or so, i could tell that it just wasn't up to pushing the air through them. I always thought the stones sucked and I kept replacing them. Over time, I spent so much on replacing airstones that I could have just bought this pump to start with. Mind you, this pump is pretty powerful and for a 15gal tank, it's definately overkill. However, the stones that I was using wasn't pushing any air through and after hooking up this new pump witnout replacing them, OMG -- the stones were like new! I have an under gravel filter and within 10 seconds of using the new pump, it pulled crap from the beginning of time out and into the tank. This pump is amazing! Water circulation has greatly improved and my water is crystal clear now. With this pump, i have confidence that circulation is working again and the gravel is doing what it's supposed to do.Pros:1 - Extremely quiet -- i'd argue that it's the quietest pump i've ever owned. I've had 7 various brands!2 - Poweful- it's adjustable and at the lowest setting, it's a beast - you can further adjust the flow with a valve but for my purpose, it's working great!3 - It's smallCons:1 - it's round and blue so it's going to attract attention more than other pumps and make your friends jealous2 - is #1 even a con if it's sitting in your cabinet or on the floor behind your tank?

This pump is quiet and powerful!! We shall see how long it lasts but seems to be good quality and right now I would totally recommend this pump. I am using it to replace the lousy one in my four foot bubble light but have had many fish tanks in the past and this would work great! Good price too. It is bigger than I thought (that’s what she said lol) about six inches around but not a problem unless your short on space.. Overall love it!!
