I like how smoothly they work. They seen to allow more air transfer than the aquarium valves I had previously used.The only negative is they are slightly larger than standard aquarium valves so you have to work with getting then to fit into the vacuum tubing.

These things are great they've never failed on me they have a positive lock on the air there's no no leakage whatsoever I've never had a water leak or air leak with these things

1/2 of them make as whistling sound when air passes through them. Cheap, go with a different brand.

I build hydroponic grow systems for a living. There are air lines running everywhere in these systems. It's important to be sure that a failed pump doesn't become a siphon flood. These do the trick very well. I use both ID and OD fittings in my work, but mostly OD - the stated size for this product is the ID of your tubing. Packaging was appropriate, and the product arrived on time. I'll be buying these again.

Well, there's no barb on the ends. My hoses keep popping off. Now I have to glue the hose to the check valves.
