For a small tank this is great if you’re not sifting through sand or aqua soil. Gets the job done and is very small so you can fit it anywhere.

I really liked this, and it worked great for my 5 gallon. However... as other reviews warned, if you accidently put it against gravel or sand (for example, I have fluval stratum) it's going to get sucked into the plunger part and block both ends. You can't pull it apart to get it lose either. So.. I think if you can avoid doing that, it'll last a while otherwise.

I understand why this product is returned so often. Most consumers don't know how to use it. Only insert an inch of tube in the water and squeeze a couple of times. Works everytime. If you insert the tube all the way in, it doesn't work. It serves the purpose for my small tank. And the price isn't bad. Also avoid very small gravel.

I liked how easy it was to get the water flowing with this siphon. The tube isn't large, but it worked reliably and moved water quickly.

You get what you pay for, but don’t waste your money. This really doesn’t function as a siphon, and it constantly clogs.

This vacuum is very functional and easy to use. I originally had one without something to suck the water out so I had to use difficult and unsanitary methods. It was one of those where you have to constantly pop the tube in and out of the water. Made it difficult because the size was too big for the fish tank.

My pump didn't come looking like the picture on this item review. Terrible hand bulb. It broke first time. There is a piece of plastic inside bouncing around. Tubing is hard plastic. Made it difficult to manuver around. For clogged super easy to. Couldn't pull peaces apart to unclog the bulb.
