Still see limescale on shower glass. Maybe it is reduced but hard to comment

Instantly felt like an improvement but the limescale came back in full force pretty quickly. Might work if you replace the filter every two or three weeks.

I bought this specifically for water harness as the advertisement mentioned it helps with itchy skin, dandruff & harsh water. We installed it and tested the water. No difference in water hardness unfortunately. Had to return it.

It's working and easily installable. However, I cannot check what it promises. It might filter metals, but the bad smell (sulphur-like) from the water here in this place in Netherlands, has not gone.

I thought I'd give this product a try for a few days before submitting a review. I have silver hair with natural curl and my water is from a well. I was dismayed because the silver in my hair would turn yellowish in color and the curl went out of my hair. I tried all different hair products, and there may be other products out there that may help with my issues, but I sure didn't find them. I was thrilled when I came across this product. I made sure I read about the products available first, and ordered the SF220 filter because of my personal situation with well water. After I placed my order I was impressed with the company and the personal email I received that provided installation instructions and helpful tips, which I followed to the letter. In one month's time, I will turn the filter over, run water through it, then turn it back - nice tip. At first, I was a little concerned that the size of this product would lower the shower head so significantly that it would be a problem (the dimensions are 3.7x3.7x5.4"). However, I have a hand held shower head and so it was not an issue for me at all. I am THRILLED that the pretty silver is back in my hair and so is my natural curl. My skin feels good and I could actually feel that my hair felt clean as I was rinsing it. I couldn't be happier - thank you SO much!!

Hello, Fellow Shower Shoppers,I just moved and was trying to replace my beloved TerraSpa shower filter from years ago, to get the nasty chlorine out of my life (I use a PUR filter on my drinking water). Apparently TerraSpa is no more, so the search started all over. After reading a lot of reviews and ratings (on and off of Amazon) on these two products, Aquabliss and Aquasana, I ordered both and installed both, one in each bathroom shower, and compared. Here's what I found in my personal experience and preferences.THE UNITSAquasana is large visually, and about 3 pounds, so it's hefty. The Aquabliss is about half that at 1.6 pounds and considerably shorter and less visually intrusive. They both use great multi-stage filtration, but the real work horse in both is the KDF-55. Aquabliss adds calcium sulfite and activated carbon on top of that, while Aquasana employs coconut carbon as their added "secret sauce."INSTALLATIONThey both require Teflon tape (super easy) for all threads, like all shower attachments do. You will not need a wrench for the Aquabliss as it hand tightens. You WILL need a wrench for the Aquasana. You will need to flush both of them to get rid of the excess carbon (the gunky black stuff). I would flush any filter like this for about 2 minutes on cold, then at least 2 minutes on hot, and do the shut off/turn on with the water at least three times as it is the initial rush of water that needs to be clear before use.I found that one big difference in design is that you can use any shower head you like with the Aquabliss as it does not affect your choice due to its straight design. The Aquasana on the other hand, comes with its own shower head, which while nice and adjustable, is non-negotiable. I tried using my old Moen shower head on the Aquasana, but the design won't allow for it. If this matters to you, that might be a deal breaker right away.EFFECTIVENESSAs far as chlorine smells goes, they are similar in their reduction, but to my ridiculously sensitive nose, the Aquabliss seemed to be fainter, and a bit cleaner smelling. I then showered with both, same shampoos/soaps, same temps, and again, very close water feel. As we all should know by now, those pool chlorine tests and strip tests are a bit useless for shower filters, so I wasn't even going to waste my time (and yours) going there. So, here's what I decided. Since the feels are similar, and the materials are both top notch, but the Aquabliss smells better TO ME, it comes down to cost, ease of installation, and flexibility of shower heads. Replacement filters for Aquasana cost more than the original unit at $52 here. Plus, you are replacing pretty much the ENTIRE base of the unit. Aquabliss costs just $15 and you are only replacing the inside filter.Aquabliss is the winner, at least for my needs. And after a month using it, I upped my review from 4 to 5 stars. :)Hope this helps you all figure out your choices a little better.UPDATE 3/22/19Just changed the filter, so it lasted about 6 months. Not bad considering the high amount of chlorine we have here! I've also added a pic of my hair because taking the chlorine out has helped it become a little thicker and healthier. Skin seems less dry and less itchy as well. Awesome.

I ordered the AquaBliss shower filter because I have city water and they use quite a bit of chlorine and who knows what else in the water to sanitize it. I installed it in our master bath and the installation was very easy. Before I installed it though, I took it apart to see how well it was made. It has silicone seals at the top and bottom of the filter so that the water has to go through the filter. It seems to be made pretty well considering the price, The chrome finish is nice and matches my fixtures, It was easy to install. For my application I didn't even need any tools. It comes with a roll of Teflon tape so make sure you use it. I can tell a difference with the water. I feel cleaner when I'm done. As far as the chlorine smell I cannot tell because I lost my sense of smell a few years ago. But, my wife notices a big difference. She says that the chlorine smell is gone and that her hair feels cleaner after she rinses. Over all, I gave it four stars because I would have liked more information on the filter element itself. One last thing, there didn't seem to be any loss of water pressure.
