My 6 year old and 10 year old kids love these! They're such a fun craft that is mesmerizing to watch come together! This comes with a lot of coloring to make plenty of buddies. I do wish it had a few more molds, but with all of the color combinations there are no two that come out the same. I appreciate that it came with three packets of solution mix so it can be put away and used multiple times.It comes with plastic single use gloves (one set) and they are child sized and don't work well at all. If you don't use the gloves, you will need to moisturize your hands well after washing.This is a fun toy for kids, mine are playing with them for a while and then putting them back in water.For about $18 at the time of this review, they are a great little afternoon craft that's pretty unique!

This is such a fun and easy activity to do with the kids. I got it for my 7 year old but the whole family ended up making the aqua pets. It's very simple and easy to use and comes with plenty of the gel, so you can make a ton of these if you want. It's fun to play around with the colors and come up with all types of different creations. The gel sets super fast but you have to keep them wet once they're made. They can be taken out of the water for a little bit but they were crumble apart if they stay out for too long.

This kit is worse than slime!! The "creations" are nearly impossible to remove from the molds and they never really "set" and its horrible to get out of clothes and such.

My 3 and 7 year old can do this with minimal supervision. It's shocking how these become 3D! Blows my mind. Will buy again

This squishy kit has been such a hit with my 3-year-old! The steps are so simple that even she can do it with minimal help. My little one seriously loves this activity, especially making animals of various colors. It's become a fun routine for us to pull them out every few days, change the water, play with them, and treat them like real pets! The molds are adorable, and I love how safe and non-toxic everything is. I just wish they didn’t need to live in water, but it’s definitely made for some fun bonding time!

These water buddies were super fun to make with my daughter and she loves them. The directions were easy to follow. The only thing I wish was that it provided more than one pair of gloves. I had to use my own gloves to be able to do it with my daughter. I am sure you can use it without the gloves, but I am not sure what chemicals the dissolving balls to make the water buddies expand have in them, so I thought it was best to use gloves. Important to note that if you plan on putting “eyes” on any of your water buddies, make sure to only use a very small dot otherwise it makes ginormous eyes and it will bleed into the other colors and looks funny. A little experimentation helped us figure that out. Otherwise use your imagination to mix colors. I also wish it came with another container to put them in. It comes with plenty of the color gel to make tons of water buddies and just the one container won’t hold that many. It also come with three packets of the dissolving balls to make the water buddies expand so you have plenty of materials to make lots of water buddies. You will need extra gloves and additional containers or you would have to let the water buddies you made dry out and shrink and reuse the current container to make more.

So this is a fun activity, would be great for a party or kids. Doing it with a toddler just be warned you will be doing the majority of the work. Unfortunately I find this kit to be far less superior then than others.There's a lot of setup and clean up.Overall if do the activity by myself for fun but not with my toddler.
