Fits factory space. You will have to enable in the computer to activate it. It does not activate itself but with factory harness and fuse in place you get abs on your trailer also. Love it!

Wasn't able to download Forscan and use OBD scan. Spent another 100 bucks taking to dealer to program controller module.

Product was easy to install and appeared to work well when we used it (the trailer stopped LOL). Installed in Late Sept 2023. Just recently it started throwing a message and beeping on my screen that the trailer is disconnected and letting me know what my gain was set at. Had to drive all the way home like that (extremely annoying) before I could remove it. Should have just bitten the bullet to start with and spent the $200 for OEM. Live and learn

Do not buy this! It will drain your battery. Spend the extra money and buy the Ford OEM module. This should not be available to sell!!!

The part quality is ok and the installation is the same process as other installs. The main issue I have is the brake controller constantly throws codes saying the trailer is disconnected when there never was a trailer connected. Something is wrong with the sensors in this design, this is similar to other reviews. If the controller doesn’t serve the basic function it’s useless and is distracting when it goes off all the time.This product needs some work. Buy OEM and save the headache.

I ordered this to use on my 2020 F150 due to the purchase of a camper. The price was good and is about $100 cheaper than what the Ford dealership was charging. Pulled the camper about 100 miles and the brake controller did its job.

Unit installed and looked at first like it was working, when trailer attached, and you try to adjust it will say no trailer and brakes will only work when you hit them hard and after a few seconds. I spent the 150 for a official one from ford and installed, brakes work perfectly. Do not know if mine was defective but if you look at the forums you see this issue with a lot of cheap third-party TBC. I quess this time you get what you pay for, tried to return but I was 10 days out of my return window.....UUUgh...

Ford could not get this to accept programming.What a waste of time. Ford had to keep my truck for 3 extra days due to having to order a new part because of this issue. Buy it from someplace else.
