I saw the reviews about the gas cap issue, it is true your stock cap wont work.If the part where your cap goes isn't that bad just use it with the rest of the new tubing, that's where most of my rust was at, on the long metal tube not the area the cap is attached to

Fitment was near perfect. The only problem was the gas cap was a screw in type, not a drop in and click to your right like Chevy. I had a screw in type from a Toyota that worked just fine. 👍👏🤪.never throw away odds and end parts. 🤔

This filler neck fit perfectly. The only problem is it is not compatible with the existing gas cap. Make sure you have the correct gas cap BEFORE you start your installation! The correct aftermarket gas cap for this filler neck is a Stant or Carquest 10835. If you want a gas cap with a tether you will need to order an Stant 10835T. Lastly, instead of using the plastic pin that holds the neck to the frame, I used a long stainless steel 1/4-20x5.5” bolt with stainless fender washers on both sides and a stainless lock nut to ensure the filler neck doesn’t move.

We were looking at it to see if the stock cap would fit it but it doesnt. So we ended up having to try and find one that did fit it on a totaled car. We did find a cap off of a 2010 chevy cobalt that did work thankfully.

Had to post a review to prevent others from going through the trouble I have with this product. I should have read all the reviews and I could have saved myself a lot of frustration. First, this filler neck is not compatible with your Chevy Trailblazer gas cap. You will have to experiment, with no direction from the manufacturer, to find a gas cap that should seal properly. Second, even when you find a gas cap that should fit properly, you may find that the threaded filler opening is misshaped enough to prevent a good seal.What you will wind up with constant "Evap System Leak" warnings from your vehicles computer system. I finally gave up and ordered another filler neck from another manufacturer that is a true match for the original part. Save yourself the trouble... Order from someone else.

This doesn’t come with a gas cap or easy instructions on which one will fit. We ordered this item on my account and it never showed up. My uncle ordered one for me on his account and showed up the next day. I’m only writing this review to help others! Thanks to a dedicated manager at auto zone we found the gas cap that fit this- it’s for a 1985-2004 JETTA! Mind you this was to replace a 2008 gmc envoy… the manager at autozone spent well over a hour researching and trying different caps. Here are pics to help anyone else who might purchase this part. Get the gas cap in advance and save yourself the headache
