They weren't able to get it to go into the transmission. There was something with the retaining ring that would not let the shaft go in all the way.

El eje tiene la medida indicada cuando está comprimido. Si se compara con el eje viejo será más corto porque este último está estirado del uso.Deben tener en cuenta eso para no creer que hay un error en el tamaño.Funciona bastante bien, mi Patriot gira mejor y sin sonidos.

I installed the axle and now I'm hearing lots of noises. Potential damage. Going to try to get a refund. They should not say it is for the year 2007 to 17 Jeep compasses. Wrong part

This axle does NOT fit a 2016 jeep patriot. I even ordered 1 from a parts store and it was the same as this 1. I guess if you need this axle you will have to go to jeep or Mopar axle.
