Since boot failure is the main cause of CV axle failure, our CV Axle Assemblies use only premium grade neoprene boots that ensure robust abrasion and extreme temperature resistance, preserving boot integrity. This means the the grease stays where it belongs - at the joint - which prevents premature wear and component failure. All of our CV Axle Assemblies are factory lubricated with a specially formulated, high-temperature Moly grease that resists friction and wear, contributing to a lifetime of smooth, dependable performance. Each of our axles is thoroughly inspected for quality and workmanship before it goes in the box - to ensure you get the best quality axles on the market. Note: All GSP axles are equipped for use with Anti-Lock Brakes (if originally available) and come with an ABS sensor ring installed. Went on my dodge Dakota alright, taking off old one is always a b it came abit bent on edges where it connects to wheel hub but that was from shipping...still put it on cause those always get bent and broken anyways

when I ordered I read a review that said product was OK but dust shield on new one had to be reduced 1/16 because it interfered with wheel bearing when I installed I too found the same issue and had to grind 1/16 off now it fits perfect. Had I not known before purchase I would have bee unhappy

I got the half shaft and thought it wasn't the same as the OEM one. I was right it isn't. It's better. The shaft has a larger diameter than stock. (All connecting points are the same) the CV is beefier, the retainer clip slit is in the right place. Would fully recommend.

I have bought this part for my dodge Dakota 2005 and I didn’t know it was not going to fit until the mechanic had to put it in my truck. Amazon said this part fits my vehicle but they had a sever lack of information from the seller because this part did not in fact fit my truck.

It is sad that it is cheaper to buy this new axle than rebuilding the old one but I think I will rebuild the old one and save it for next time

I had bought one 6 months before this one, at a local store, put it in an thought all was well, then I notice that it is not locked on the output shaft and had nearly worked off. Come to find out the locking ring groove was not in the right place, Dodge had made the change in November of 2000, so I ordered this one an it fit perfect, now I am back to replace the other side, and I will use this brand again! Do your research!! Do not depend on a web site like Amazon to make SURE a important item like this will work on your vehicle!
