No more rotten egg smell, just cleared the drive cycle and no error came. Get the denso brand o2 sensors. Someone mentioned the clamp sucked, it definitely does.(I couldn’t get it to fit) Use the old on or look for an own style where it attaches to the muffler pipe. Beats paying Toyota $1600 for the OEM one.

Just installed this for my brother on my lift. I thought it would arrive as one piece. Really pissed that it arrive in 2 pieces because they didn't even take the time to make a good fit between the 2 pipes. Thankfully I have an exhaust expander. It's basically like a 2 inch OD to a 2 3/8 ID pipe. It leaks it's @$$ off unless you expand the pipe like I did and even still I put muffler sealer around the pipe before clamping for additional protection from leaks. Exhaust is also louder. Not horrible just louder than factory.

The O2 sensors fit just like they should and line up right where they were on the old exhaust and my check engine light is gone....after I erased the code again with my reader that came from Amazon too. Engine runs better too. You may need to purchase new O2 sensors too. Sometimes they are bad as well, not just the cat.The two bolts that attach to the exhaust manifold are on there. Impact gun would not get them off. Well, they have been there for about 20 years and had some rust on them.Had to spray and wait 10 minutes and repeat process 3 times before they finally came loose. Best angle to spray them is from above in back of engine bay. You will get some on the manifold and it will smoke a bit when you start the engine again. Took about 20 minutes for it all to burn off when I test drove it.Mine were 14mm bolts, some are 17mm. Best to have a few long 1/2 inch extensions for your impact gun to reach them. The rubber hangers also needed some help to get the old exhaust off. I used some dielectric grease so it will not damage the rubber and they came right off.Like other reviews say, the exhaust is a little louder due to the resonator with this kit being a little smaller than the stock one.I should likely get a new muffler too at some point if I want to quiet this thing down some. It's 20 years old too.Nice that everything bolts or clamps on.Would have been about an hour project if the 2 bolts to the manifold would have come off easier. If you have a jack, 2 jack stands for one side, a 1/2 inch impact gun (electric or pneumatic) with long extensions, a 12, 13, 14, and possibly 17mm sockets, O2 sensor socket and ratchet, some type of grease for the rubber hangers, and penetrant spray you should be able to do this job.Very fair price for a new cat.

This worked perfectly for my '05 scion xB...the only caveat to this is the clamp for the pipe directly after the resonater to the muffler...you don't get a good seal and leaks. Use a band clamp that's 2" OD on one side and 2"ID on the other. Since the resonater on this is a lot smaller your car will be louder so just be ready!

I had P0420 error and bought this cat along with 2 Denso sensors. Real easy change except one thing. I reused the muffler flange from Toyota. The one supplied did not work. All is fine now. The sound is a bit louder but who cares.
