Used for customizing my tabletop war-gaming miniatures and repairing damage to resin figurines and sculptures.It works like GreenStuff if you are familiar with that. mix part A and B and then you have some time to sculpt it into whatever you want. As it cures it goes through various stages of workability. It will be a little more sticky early on and then as it firms up you will be able to using sculpting tools to create all sorts of detail with finer details being easier early on and smoothing being easier a bit later. Once cured it is very hard and can be sanded or painted.Between this and some model paints I've been able to save quite a few little resin figures that got chipped when they got knocked of their shelves. When done well the repairs are barely noticeable and very well adhered to the original piece.Once cured it lasts forever and doesn't discolor but stored in the tubs I've noticed that my part B developed a yellow orange film where its exposed to air. Part A has no problems. They still both work even with the yellowing of the top of the part B stuff but even after over 8 years of having the tubs the stuff under that top yellowed layer still looks fine.

I have used over 8 pounds of this because I do a lot of repairs on my sailboat and use it for so many things. It really is a very good Epoxy. And it can even Harden underwater. It sets up Fairly fast, but not too fast and gives you the time to work with it. Bought this to customize an action figure. It was difficult to work with when freshly mixed as it tried to stick to my fingers, I solved this problem by dipping my fingers in water. Once it began to cure a little it was easier to handle. It's usable for a few hours, I had to learn how much to mix so I could use it all up in time. It cured and stuck well to the plastic figure I built on, no cracks. Was easy to paint. Smells a little bit, but my nose is also very sensitive. Scent vanished once painted and varnished.

I do a lot of hand sculpting when making dioramas and this stuff is awesome. It gets easier to work with once it sits for a little bit. Using water to wet it and smoothing works great. I have bought this several times and it will always be my go to modeling compound.

This is an excellent 2 part epoxy that is finer than Miliput. Both have their uses but this can be rolled out into thinner sheets. Each part is in separate jars rather than wrapped together. This makes sure no mixing of the two parts happens until YOU want it to.

Je m'en suis servie pour customiser une pop DIY et c'est tout simplement parfait ! Facile à travailler.Par conter, ça sèche vraiment vite, il vaut mieux faire plusieurs séances de petits travaux pour éviter d'en jeter. Mais vraiment, le résultat est top et la peinture adhère bien dessus !

Mi diletto nel restauro e ho trovato questo prodotto veramente eccellente : molto duttile da lavorare quando è fresco e perfezionabile con qualsiasi strumento quando si è indurito.Il risultato per me è stato più che soddisfacente. Si comporta esattamente come da descrizione. È un po' caro ma vale la pena provarlo.

Para esculpir es sencillamente genial. Es lo que estaba buscando: una masilla epoxi que permitiese trabajar durante tiempos prolongados, con buen nivel de detalle, y que al secar fuese resistente y ligera al mismo tiempo.La utilizo para añadir detalles sobre piezas de Worbla, y combina muy bien. Para evitar que se pegue demasiado a los dedos, y poder suavizar la superficie, utilizo alcohol y va de lujo.Lo recomiendo 100%.

Very easy and simple to use, works a lot like clay.I use it as a way to tidy and clean 3D printed objects, and find it one of the best methods of creating smoother surfaces for them (along side sanding)

This stuff is AMAZING.... I have used many different epoxy putty products. They don't hold up to this at all. This stuff stays pliable for hours making it very easy to work with. It cures very slowly giving you time at different phases to smooth it out, join new parts etc. After about 3 hours it's in a pretty rock hard state. After 6 or so hours it is incredibly strong. After 3 hours I was able to drill and shape it with a dremel and sand paper. I will be keeping pounds of this stuff on hand as it can fix almost anything. Paintable, water proof and so easy to work with. It's long workable time is very convenient unless you need a quick set product. I'll keep a tube of quick steel on hand for very quick fixes but will use this stuff for everything else..

Well, first off let me say that I've tried other epoxy putties before. While Apoxy Sculpt may be ideal for small home projects or sealants it's not my first choice. It's a good and cheap alternative to some of the more expensive putties out there. However, let me say this- you get what you pay for. It works perfectly for home fixer-upper projects, such as caulking, repairing small holes, etc. But for craft applications it leaves a little to be desired.It's very sticky for one. For fine detailing, or in my case, precise sculpting it's texture and consistency makes it very difficult to work with. You can't really 'sculpt' precise shapes until about an hour or two after it starts to set. Even then, it's filmy and likes to stick to your hands more than your project. Because of this fact, it also has a tendency to go everywhere- not just the area you wanted it in.While you can help to smooth it with water, that filmy consistency and the way it sticks to your fingers never quite fades.Another thing is it takes forever to set! (My favorite, Milliput, takes only about 3-4 hours to set, and 24 hours to fully cure.) While this can be a good thing- for instance, you see a part you want to fix later on, you still can- it's not realistic for projects that need to be done quickly or if you're on a time crunch. It also makes it vulnerable to change should your project fall, get bumped, etc.However, it's not a terrible product either. The price, as mentioned, makes it worth it's small faults. Other epoxy putties go for twice as much for twice as little. If you're using this for practical, and not craft or art applications, my advice is to just go for it. Maybe try the 1 lb. before buying the 4 lb. to make sure you like it.If you need something that's reliable in all applications, easier to work with, and of finer quality I suggest Milliput however. It's more expensive (going around $8.00 for 4 oz.) but it's worth the cost. If you're looking to use epoxy putty for professional quality art purposes, I simply can't recommend Apoxy Sculpt as my first choice product. But for casual use, stick with the cheap but reliable stuff.
