These are good hemostat / forceps locking clamps with a soft finish (not highly polished) and perfectly aligned jaws. The pivot is tight and these operate smoothly with no looseness or "play" in the pivot. The set comes in 3 sizes of straight jaws and 3 sizes of slightly curved jaws. BTW: I looked it up and the difference between Hemostats and Forceps is that Hemostats have groved jaws for better grip and holding power. (You can see the difference in the pictures.)

It easily gets rusty, thus it should be kept dry all time, moreover, it requires eo gas to get it sterilized instead of vapor.
