This little guy is totally wind and waterproof. It fits and wears true to size and is a completely good purchase, especially for the price of less than $30 USD.It's best feature is the way you can just stow-and-go in your pack and then just bust it out when you need it. Good enough for us to nab several more, it's an easy enough decision that I'd recommend to all my family. Good jacket.

Look...you get what you pay for when it comes to waterproof jackets. You have your cheaper ones that are basically lined with plastic, and you have your WAY more expensive ones that use more breathable materials (such as Gore-tex). This jacket is decently constructed, feels sturdy, and looks nice for what it is. However, don't expect to use this for extended periods of time without being soaked from the humidity building inside the jacket. This would be great for very brief uses where you don't heat up enough to cause that to happen.

This raincoat is lightweight and fit my son perfectly.It repels the rain one hundred percent, so it's completely waterproof and windproof meaning it functions both as a raincoat and a windbreaker.It looks sharp as well...I'm not going to take any points off for the fact that it has no breathability... That's because that's the trade off for being one hundred percent waterproof... Clothing, that is perfectly waterproof just cannot breathe...But for my twelve year old son, this was a perfect jacket at a great price!4.7 out of 5

I ordered this back when it was still raining outside sometimes. It's January now, and there's nothing but snow. I like to write reviews promptly, so I can't speak to how waterproof it is unless I stand in the shower with it. Having had many raincoats, I'm confident this material will keep the water out. The zipper seems to be well-sealed.The jacket is very lightweight. This makes it useful for warm summer rain showers. I purchased it in a larger size than I usually do because I want to be able to put it over a coat for those icy spring and fall rains.The hood is big enough to cover a hat. The pockets are large, and there is an extra-large storage pocket on the inside. I have other packable raincoats that pack into this inner pocket. I prefer this because I don't have to keep track of the bag when the jacket is deployed.When spring arrives, I will test this in actual rain and report back here if any of my assumptions prove incorrect.

I was really bummed by this jacket. The outside felt like a breathable fabric, but the inside is completely lined with plastic. Sure enough, I wore this on a regular walk with the husband and the dog, and the sweatshirt I was wearing was completely soaked in the arms. (I don't actually sweat that much. It's just that the arms had the least amount of airflow.)I honestly cannot recommend this jacket to anyone. I'll give it 3 stars because it LOOKS nice, but the breathability is REALLY BAD.
