Bought an XL for the GAP ride in November. I'm 200 lb, 5'11. Chest fits good. Little tight in the shoulders, torso length if fine. The sleeves are short by about 3". Jacket is water resistant, not water proof.Last day of the three day ride, the LH zipper started to act up. Only had the jacket a couple of months at this time. The jacket did OK at 50F. Not a winter coat. I wore an UnderAmour Cold Gear shirt at 50F.

Haven't even taken it for a ride test yet and just by first looks I immediately bought a second one. Been cycling for several years now and have been searching for the right jacket to meet my extended riding needs. I have owned many other cycling jackets before and in my opinion I have found none had was so well thought out, tailored and quality made for the rider as a reasonable cost.Pros:1. elastic around the sleeves to prevent cold wind from creeping up your arm.2, effective wind barrier material on the areas that really matter.3, 3 usable pockets, 1 on each waist side and one in the back. You can fit 2 extra water bottles or whatever if you choose to.4. shorter in the front and longer in the back to prevent excessive jacket material bunching up around the waist when riding.5. Breathable material along the back and sleeves to prevent excessive overheating.6. very decent stitching and zippers Dare you to find a better bargain for the price.Cons:1. Im 5'8, 33 inch waist 170 lbs. I got the XL which fit perfectly but I can where those who may have abnormally long arms may think the sleeves may be too short.2. I have slightly broader than average shoulders and can see where some of the comments below say the shoulders dont fit correctly. Again the size I chose XL fit perfectly3. Little bit extra material in the front of the jacket but I believe this to be a benefit as it allows me to add a few extra layers of clothes if needed4. Probably not the most ideal jacket for rainy weather as only certain portions of the jacket are water resistant. I try never to ride in the rain anywaysSuggest trying this jacket before you test the others. Enjoy your ride

After wearing this wind jacket for five rides, here are some thoughts. It functions as it should. The cut is somewhat restricted in the shoulders for myself. I'm 5'9" 175lbs. It is not breathable and it will keep you quite warm, and even dry from the rain as I found out. It's durable and well built. I gave three stars for the fit and lack of breathability. Oh and it does not compress to be able to pack in a jersey pocket.

I was looking for a winter jacket that would only require a few layers to stay comfortable, and boy this jacket is perfect... especially for the price. I live in Michigan, and like to cycle into December and/or until there's snow on the ground. The temps and wind can make cycling very uncomfortable. Lets start with sizing. I'm 5'6" Male 152 lbs and normally I'm between sizes S and M... so it's always tough finding the perfect fit. I ordered the China L or US M. The jacket fit good in the arms... maybe a little long but for riding it's perfect. The chest and stomach area is a little big, but I plan to wear layers so it's ok... better a little big than too form fitting. I've warn this jacket only two time so far, but am impressed. The sleeves and waist have an elastic band which is good for keeping the wind out. My first ride was with temps around 42F but strong winds making it feel like 35F. I wore this jacket with two layers... one of those skin tight base layers and the second layer was a light weight microfiber vest. I was very comfortable in my core area... sometimes even a little warm, and my arms were comfortable. I would say even if it was in the mid to low 30's I'd be comfortable. I would say you could wear this jacket with only a base layer and be perfectly comfortable at 50F to 44F. Lower temps may require a second layer. Overall I'm really happy with this purchase. I'm really impressed with how well it shields the wind and how breathable it is. GREAT JACKET!!

Sizing is a bit funky with this jacket but if it fits you, it would probably be great for the price.I'm 6'2, 200lbs with pretty wide shoulders, somewhat long arms and in pretty decent shape. I ordered the Asia 3XL which is supposed to translate to an XL. As soon as I put it on, without zipping, I knew there was no way this was going to work. My shoulders were squeezed really tight and were basically a 1/4 down the sleeve. This meant the sleeves were also way too short. The body of the jacket fit pretty well though. With my build, this was a story I knew all too well. Even going up sizes would have meant something wasn't going to fit right. The jacket itself seemed to be well made and besides the shoulders and arms issue, was quite comfortable. If you have an average to slim build, I think this jacket would be great for you. If you're like me, you might want to look elsewhere.Item shipped to me during winter holidays in great time and condition. My return was hassle free as well.
