Your cart is empty. This high quality custom made APC serial cable is the replacement APC part 940-0144 and 940-0144A. It is used for APC switched or metered PDU unit. Compatible with most APC PDU units that have a RJ12 (looks like telephone plug connection) connection for the APC console serial cable.
You can use this APC 940-0144 serial cable to reset APC password or other command. This is the list of Compatible APC PDU. Note: Not all units model are listed. Your APC PDU unit may not list here but it should still work.

This is the same cable that comes in the box with your PDU. I have successfully tested this using a serial to usb adapter and putty.

Not RJ12, but RJ45 - will not work for AP7900s like it says it will. Doesn't fit into the console port.You can't even manually fix the cable, there's only 3 wires in it.

Worked for me on the APC AP7902 PDU.Changed the password to something including a "%" and apparently it does not like that.Had to go through the reset procedure for the AP79xx series which requires this cable.
