The original handle for this knife was rubber and black and it became sticky so I removed black sticky handle and cut off a section of elk antler that we got from my sister and her husband in Wyoming and drilled it and secure the knife in new antler handle then patched up any holes and matched the designs of original antler with the paint provided with this antler kit and I think it turned out great for my first project

I've never used anything like this before. I've recently had some time off work for recovery and decided to refurbish some knife handles. This putty was easy to use and seems harder than the elk antler when done. I was able to easily blend this to the texture and shape of my broken bits. The color was perfect for the lighter white antler so I never used the colors. It sculpts like clay and sands easily. It reminds me of old school pipe dope/putty during initial application. Amazing results from a first time user. It is a bit tacky when mixing so I'd recommend using nitrile gloves or something similar.

Product Worked Well.Wires were a little too short and on the thin side for longer antler repairs so the repaired areas flex slightly.Also recommend mixing the base color until you get it right on to the existing antler color.

The kit would be better if it had some more color choices. I needed some red tones to match my antlers

The antler repair kit works great. My grand daughter accidentally shot one of the tines off of her nice 4x4 mule deer buck. Luckily we found the point and used the kit to reattach it and fill in the missing parts. It came out so well that no one could tell where the damage had been. A great and easy to use product. I highly recommend it.

This kit works great! I used it to replace about 1.5" from a broken tine on a whitetail rack. It's a two part epoxy like pig putty so mix it very thoroughly, but it's easy to work with and gives plenty of dry time. The color it dries to is not bad. I mixed the white and tan colors to make the antler base color and then dry brushed the dark brown on it for aging. Turned out very good. Even up close it's barely distinguishable and on the wall--you just can't tell. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Turned a shame into a wall-hanger. Buy this!

nice product works great seems to want to dry out so be careful for future use to keep an eye on it and add water mix in then it seems to be ok
