They definitely work. I was expecting the rubber oh to be a lot stiffer but it's actually pretty flexible. Comes in a nice case. I assume the $20 ones are a stiffer rubber.. but you get what you pay for.

The design ..the way they stay on your hands effortlessly is the best I've used ..no annoying finger loops or overly padded hand covers ..but the usefulness is not very high ...they're basically only effective for curling .. benching they're useless ...skull crushers ... basically everything besides curling they're more annoying then good ..if they would have just contoured the palm enough to bench they'd be the perfect design

This has absolutely changed my workout. I saw these mentioned in a video and figured I’d give it a shot since my legs can work more than my arms… I can now manage to hang on to much heavier weights and actually hit my dead lifts and I makes me feel a lot more in my legs than my arms!

These SONIVEX Rubber Anti-Slip Hand Protector Workout Grips for Weightlifting measure 3.2 (W) x 1.7 (L) inches.This comes with a pair of rubber hand protectors and a zippered case with a clip.They are definitely easy to put on. Just place it between your pointer and middle finger. It sits comfortably between those fingers and protects the lowest finger joints on 4 fingers from having the weight hit that area.I have been working out for at least 4 decades and have been wearing half finger leather palmed gloves for all of those years. At the very beginning I did not wear gloves and quickly learned how easy callouses form. I then became very faithful to glove wearing.I decided to try this pair due to the great reviews. I am torn! Do I like them, sure, but they do not protect my hands the way leather gloves do.I included pictures of me holding a 12.5 pound weight. The rubber area covers the lowest finger joints and the very top of my palm. When I am wearing them and have my hands open flat they barely cover the fat pads at the top of my hands. Sure when I hold the weight and my hand is slightly curled they do protect more, but even then they do not completely protect my hand where the weight is.When I hold a hand weight (or a bar with weights) only a portion of my hand is actually protected by these grips. My entire mid hand and thumb have absolutely no protection at all, and for that reason I cannot give this a 5 star review as others have. I think it is only a matter of time before callouses form on areas of my hand that are not protected. 😢I really wanted to love these but just can’t. If they had an additional half to three quarters of an inch of rubber at the bottom of the grip I think that would solve the problem.
