The Onyc Boox Tablet Go 7 Color, which I'm just going to call the Go 7, is a handheld e-reader with a color, textured, matte display. It's a great device for reading all sorts of content including books, comics, and graphic novels. Due to the nature of the display, I wanted to protect it against scratches. Scratching a matte, textured display causes permanent damage and can affect the way it feels and is used.I tried these screen protectors and they both ended up in the trash. I tried to put one on thinking I made a mistake. I took it off and installed the other. The issue is that the Go 7's display is recessed, it doesn't sit flush with the bezel of the reader. This screen protector covers the entire area of the Go 7. That's nice for protecting the front, but it means there's a gap between the screen protector and screen. At first, I installed the protector so there was a giant air gap and it felt like using the old resistive touch screens. Half my touch inputs weren't registering.I installed the second one so that it sit flush with the screen. This caused the button cutouts to not align and there was still a gap, just around the edge of the protector. Why they designed the protectors like this is something I will never know. They clearly didn't have a Go 7 on-hand to design them or else the protectors would have been two pieces.Buy something else or just use a folio case to protect the Go 7's display.

This covers not only the screen but the frame. However, they are not flat, which caused this huge air gap! So don't buy it.
