The installation instructions are odd and didn't work for me. I trashed the first of the 2 protectors after trying to install according to the instructions. The second one I installed as if it were a phone screen protecter, and it went on much smoother and easier.Basically, I cleaned the device with a moist towelette in order to remove as much dust and fingerprints as possible. Used the provided cloth to quickly dry and remove any more dust. Then I peeled of "step 1" and placed it on the device as close to the corners as I could. I had 2 tricky pieces of dust I removed using a combination of the "hinges" and my finger. Ultimately I still have a couple of bubbles, but nothing that I notice when reading. :)UPDATE: (Rating changed from 3 to 5 stars)Shortly after posting my original review I was contacted by the seller, who offered to send me new screen protectors and "recommend[ed] installing ... in a steamy bathroom with the shower running. I know it sounds odd, but it's very effective at controlling dust during the installation." Since these would come to me at no cost, how could I refuse? Also I'd try it with the shower on.7 days later, the new protectors arrived. Abiding by the strange suggestion, I turn on the shower in my bathroom and open the packaging. This instructions were a little different than the first package, as it did not include "rubber bands" or "hinge stickers". Instead these were instructed to install similarly to a typical screen protector. Peel, lineup, stick, smooth, and enjoy. This time the installation went much smoother. It was less finicky and there seemed to be less dust (thanks to the shower running the whole time, I suppose). The protector is on much better than the first one. I'd estimate it is 99% bubble free. I'm much happier with this installation, and I still have the second protector!

The adhesive on my original order was not good, first application resulted in small bubbles on one side, application of second screen protector resulted with a side of the screen protector not staying down. I contacted the company (great customer service) and they replaced my first order immediately. However, the adhesive on the replacement was only a little better than the original order. I say this because there are three small bubbles remaining, which have no lint under them (viewed with magnifying glass). The bubbles will disappear when depressed or moved, then within about 10 seconds reappear. The screen was cleaned carefully with optical cleaner before application, and there was no visible sign of dust or lint anywhere under the screen protector after applications.I followed the instructions as written on the card, and watched the video and applications were clean and easy. I don't know whether I received a defective adhesive batch both times, or if these are just not designed to be completely bubble free.I purchased this product for my Kindle Paperwhite (2013), and can live with the three remaining bubbles on my screen. But, all of my other devices (iPad2, iPad Air2, & Kindle Fire HDX) have competitor screen protectors on them (also purchased through Amazon), and my Paperwhite is the only screen protector application that resulted in bubbles on my screen.I gave the product 4 stars because three and a half was not possible, and because the anti glare screen when reading is exactly what I had hoped for. Every device I own to has a screen protector and protective cover on them, I feel they are expensive enough to merit this protection.I chose this product over a competitor I usually use, because I wanted to save a few dollars; if that is important to you and you don't mind having a couple bubbles on your screen, then this screen protector will work for you.Update: (4.7.15) I noticed that all but one bubble disappeared overnight! Yay! This is a solid 4 to 4.5 star product. Also a few tips: Application in a humid area is helpful. I turn off the Heat/AC first s it does not come on while I am applying the screen protector, I spray warm water in the air above my work service and carefully wipe down the table. I clean the screen carefully, and wipe the outer sides of the screen protector (front and back) as well with a microfiber cloth. If even a tiny piece of lint is on either side of the film, it could be sucked onto the screen when you remove side 1 of the film. Also, I go over every part of my device screen with one of the dust removal stickers after I have wiped down my device before application. Finally, do not rush through any step, plan to take your time and work carefully and slowly.

After reading some of the other reviews, I was a bit wary of this product since many noted it didn't fit the Touch's screen, which would obviously be an issue. But I decided to take a chance, and I'm glad I did.It has the same two-film installation as all good screen protectors and, much to my relief, it fits the Touch's screen almost perfectly. I was able to use the included bubble remover to put it down smoothly. I apparently missed a speck of dust when I was cleaning the screen, but was able to use the bubble remover to pick up a corner and peel back the protector to remove the dust.Based on the limited lighting I have available right now (indoor), the glare reduction doesn't seem to be huge, but I mainly purchased these for screen protection, and it seems like they will serve that purpose well. I was worried the protector might have a different texture, but it preserves the feel of the original screen very well.Pros- Fits the Touch's screen nearly perfectly (maybe earlier batches weren't the correct size?)- Maintains the same feel as the original screen- Reduces glare at least a bit- Two-film installation to preserve both sides of the protector itself- Includes a bubble remover for installation and cloths for screen cleaningCons- Can be difficult to put in place without trapping at least some dust, but that's the nature of screen protectors.****UPDATE 2012-11-05****My wife liked my Kindle Touch, so I gave it to her and purchased a . I got another 2-pack of these screen protectors, and they fit both the Touch and the Paperwhite. It just might be in my head, but it almost seemed like it fit the Paperwhite screen even better than the Touch. It is still a two-peel process, and they still include the very handy bubble remover. Works just as well as the first time; still highly recommended.
