This is my 8 year old corn snakes favorite hide. I was worried it would be too small but he fits perfect!

I know the nature of a humid hide makes it a prime place for mold to grow, but this was different. I have had many humid hides, and none of them have grown mold faster than this thing. My gecko normally loves to explore every inch of new things put into her enclosure. But this thing, she refused to enter. Maybe she didn't like the interior paint, that was kind of sticky and felt vaguely latex-based. Or maybe she could smell the mold before I could see it.Regardless, it's kind of up to her whether or not I give this a good rating. And it seems that her opinion is that she'd rather have a bath than get inside this rock hide. And she hates baths quite a lot. Therefore, it has been banished to the bottom of my reptile supplies box.It seems like the thing is sturdy, and won't break easily. But, it's kind of pointless if your pet doesn't use it.

Our snake really loves her cave and won’t hang out anywhere else in her tank now!

My snake absolutely loves this rock hide. I love how easy it is to clean and remove moss and add new moss inside, it's super realistic looking and heavy duty. Great quality for the price. One of my snakes favorite places to hide and rest.

I got this for my sub adult ball python (she weighs about 500g) and she really loves it. She has more growing to do and I'm confident that she will fit in it for another year and a half at least. I filled it with some sphagnum moss and I spray it every so often so it is nice and humid in there for her. She spends like 50% of her time in there and she loves peeking her head out to see what's going on.

This is my second time ordering this. The first one the lid was broken in one place. The second one the lid is in multiple pieces. The water dish is also all scratched up.

Got this as a humid hide for a uromastyx (yes, they do benefit from some humidity in their burrows for shedding). It does look like a nice, quality hide, but the lid doesn't quite fit properly. Not a huge issue, but after only a few weeks, the lid also developed a crack. I imagine this was caused by heat, but the surface temp of the hide was only a bit over 100f when checked.Decent hide for the money, you may just want to place it away from heating elements.
