After trying various other methods that failed miserably, I was very skeptical that this or any other product was going to work. Needless to say it worked perfectly. My washer finally was able to complete a washing cycle without stopping due to excess rocking. Thank you to whoever created this product

We were ready to throw away a new basic model washer due to ‘explosive’ balancing issues during the spin cycle. The issue was so bad the wash basket dented the front of the appliance from the inside and damaged the wall. Manufacturer sent a tech that installed new shock rods. No change. Bought these as a last ditch effort. I was stunned that it completely fixed the issue!

I paid $35 for these, and while they work well enough, I wouldn't spend that again. What's shocking to me 10 months later is the current price ($56). They do handle the weight of my double washer setup (pedestal and front load washer stack). The vibration dampeners were something I wanted because we did have issues with the old washer walking, and I haven't see that with these, even when the washer is on high spin.Thankfully, there are more economical options.

I had high hopes for these anti-vibration pads, but sadly my washing machine still vibrates like crazy on the spin cycle. If anything, these actually made the vibration worse.

For some reason my otherwise leveled washing machine decides to walk around the laundry room when on spin cycle. I think the floor might be slightly off the bubble. The Speed Queen, and you folks that have these know how expensive they are so you don't want them beating themselves up. Thus, these anti-vibration pads. My teenage granddaughter installed them for me under the four washer feet - it's a two-man job - I rocked the washer slightly - she slid the pads under the feet. I took a photo of the location of the pads/feet against the tile lines as a reference point. No movement and the washer is silent during the spin cycle. I wish I had purchased these sooner. They work! Highly recommended.

We recently moved, selling our high end LG W&D with our old house. New house came with new whirlpool W&D of lesser quality. During my months long struggle with trying to get the darned washer balanced and stop the insane vibrating and shaking during the spin cycle, I learned that this is an inherent problem with front load washers, even though the LG never had this problem. The new set is on the 2nd floor of the new place, so that adds to the obviousness of the problem These pads have made a MASSIVE difference!! It still vibrates, but the entire house no longer shakes, and once it hits top speed of the spin cycle, it smooths out and is almost inaudible… These were an absolute game changing improvement and would definitely buy again! And at any price knowing what I know now!!! PS: the dryer doesn’t do this, so I didn’t buy a 2nd set and could care less what it looks like…. Lol

I can’t seem to level my washing machine. It’s a top load and shakes until it stops and interrupts the load. With this product on - even though I know it’s not perfectly level - it shakes a bit but doesn’t bounce around and turn off. The products are heavier/sturdier than I expected. I suspected if again try to level out the legs heights I could get even less shaking. I think this product is worth it.

We’ve only done one load in our Samsung large capacity front load he unit but these things isolated the laundry room high spin shake (our laundry room is on top level over our house): had large comforter and towels in and ran on full speed spin no issue.. it’s a tight laundry room and we just had new vinyl plank flooring installed - pretty much have to have in place then lift each side to put coasters on. Tough to move once feet are on the rubber is anti slip. Worth the $ to me. No noise heard underneath this room now where I had chandelier on dampening elastics for minimal vibration.. A+

Worth The PriceNew washers use crazy, high revolutions (up to 1,500 rpm!) to extract water compared to units 20 years ago. Why do we need a "jet engine" in our home? Can advances in technology go overboard? Sure.I believe the high level of performance, complexity, and dependence on computer technology is NOT welcome in general for consumers here. My new Miele washer is a great example. The German engineering accomplishments became clear to me as overkill. They have found a way to make, what is now likely, the most complicated machine in your home. Miele repair personnel actually agree on this and I've talked to a few!BTW, don't forget these washers require a dedicated electric circuit with new breaker so don't expect to plug them in on the same receptacle as the dryer. That cost me another $1,000 (machine $2K, electrician $1K) that the Assistant Manager and salesman at Howards some how forgot to mention!Repairmen say to keep those old dinosaurs as long as possible as they were simple designs created to last like a Sherman tank with parts that are easy to find and install. After the new electric circuit, this machine sent too much vibration into my laundry room tile floor and counters at the speeds recommended. At those speeds, this very heavy machine can "walk" even when the feet are adjusted professionally. ;-((Vibrashield pads solved both these concerns nicely. Though I'm still not moved about this expensive appliance, at least the machine isn't moving either! Bravo Vibrashield. ~ErgonomicsDr

During a recent renovation, we stacked our front loading washer and dryer. After the stacking, we ended up with a tremendous amount of vibration when the washer enters the final high speed spin cycle, to the point the floors shook. We looked at the various pads and feet on the market that claimed to help minimize vibrations. I choose these because the material appeared sturdy and they looked easier to install than a pad under the whole machine, and a pad might block the overflow drain. They arrived quickly, and were exactly as advertised. The material feels solid enough that they should hold up. We had a bit if a challenge installing them, since it requires lifting each corner, and it is hard to slide the machine once they are underneath, but I read a trick on line to spray some window cleaner on the floor where we wanted them to slide and we were able to get them all in place and slide the machine back in. the result? Much less vibration. There is still some, but they did improve the situation at a reasonable cost.

We have a first floor washing machine/dryer and my office is directly behind; the dryer vibration was bad enough to cause my desk to vibrate too.The pads are well built; I lowered the dryer legs as far down as required then balanced it then put it in place and put these under. The vibration to my desk has mostly stopped - I feel a little but not to the same degree. The dryer is about 20 years old and the facts are:1) When we first got the dryer it would make a thump thump thump noise. When I complained to the tech he said that was the flattening of the belt when off and after you turn it on for a while it will not sound like that. It was somewhat true; but I don't think the thumping ever went totally away even after a long dry cycle. I don't know if beyond Wifi connectivity they have improved dryers. Back in the 80s one issue with floppy drives was that the belt would wear out the the speed to read would be impacted - the solution was a direct drive motor - no belts. If a $1000 dryer has belts and a $2000 has no belts then I would probably aim for the $2000 just for that alone, for my case.2) They do sell affordable kits to replace various rubber parts (wheels/belts) in the dryers. But the problem is as per one review - the older you get the more "it may not be 100% equal in fit" and you maybe having issues taking off/putting on the parts. I thought about this more and being 20 years old it is not worth it and will aim to get a new dryer.Dishwasher state how quiet they are - not sure how quiet / less vibrating / you can get with a washer and dryer. There are limits. The only true solution would be two independent bases built with springs that would help isolate the vibration (no different than the bowling ball dropping on the Johnny mattress).Washing machines - the most vibration should happen during the final spin. We have a front load and it is brutally fast - but the basket is suspended in air and ... what are you going to do about it? Same thing - an independent base with springs. The review is based on the quality of the item and I thought it was well built overall and would recommend it as a way to help curb vibrations. Whether it works or not will depend on various factors - machine type (dryer v. washer), floor quality, cycles used, types of clothes in the machines etc.Hint - to move the dryer around just lift a bit and put a small piece of paper under each pad - move then take away the paper.
