I purchased this hammock with stand and cover/pillow this June. So far there are no complaints and there is no tearing, shredding, fraying of any of the material from the rope and netting of the actual hammock. The material on the top is slightly wider than the hammock, but fits perfect along with the pillow. The material has faded tremendously, but is still usable and in good condition. The only thing I am noticing about the hammock is the wooden space bars have shown.

The hammock itself is soft and comfortable. But that is due to the fact it is 100% cotton even though the description said it contained some polyester. The thing with me in it sank like a stone straight to the ground. I'm not tiny but an average American woman. Tightened up the links. Still sank but not quite to the bottom. It has now stretched so it's hooked with the main ring at the head and second loop of the chain by the feet. Did not crash but am only about 6 or 7 inches from the ground. I wanted a hammock with polyester to avoid this problem. I have had our first hammock for well over 10 yrs until it finally started to unravel. That one was an Algoma brand. I don't hold out hope for 10 yrs with this one. Even the frame is much lighter weight..... I'm using my original frame now.

I had purchased a different that didn’t have the flat bar and I felt like I was inside a banana peel. I wanted to be able to lie flat and be able to see all the nature in my yard so after careful reviews and searching I decided on this one. It matches the trim on my home perfectly and it was the least expensive to boot so it was a win win for me. Set up was so easy and a breeze. You will have to slowly set down and place your bum in the middle if you don’t want to flip but I feel very safe in it and I go about 210-215 pounds. I’m not sure about two people fitting in this but it’s perfect for one person. I love the removable padding but it does hang over about six inches on one end. That for me isn’t aesthetically pleasing to the eyes but I love being able to wash it. The pillow is ok. I really don’t use it as it’s too skinny for me. I bring out my own pillow when I use it. It definitely looks beautiful in my yard and looks very inviting. I’m very happy with my purchase!

it's just wonderful! Our whole family loves it! it's so comfortable to swing in it, enjoying the weather and just being in your thoughts. and this pillow that doesn't slip, it would seem that everything is so simple and very comfortable

I received the hammock, with detachable pad and pillow, last weekend and immediately replaced my old hammock with hit. It fit perfectly on our existing stand (12ft), with room on the chain to raise or lower it as needed. I really like the material of this pad - it's not as slippery as my old one, which was nylon. This feels more cotton-like. We had a nasty storm the day after I put it out (so excuse all of the debris), but after shaking off the leaves and twigs, it still looks new. The hammock itself is a softer rope than my previous one, so it's more comfortable. I do wonder if it will stretch out faster? Time will tell. Overall, I think it'll be a great addition to our pool area and I can see my family enjoying throughout the year.

Great hammock, love it!I have been looking for a replacement hammock for our old cloth hammock and stumbled across this product and immediately bought it. The product description promised two hardwood spreaders which would be able to hold up the hammock and soft handcrafted ropes. The wooden spreaders did feel like they were good quality upon inspection and seem very sturdy.The ropes are nice and thick and do not hurt at all when I am laying down on the hammock. They are nicely interwoven and make a tight net, so you do not have to be scared to fall through.The hammock also can hold up two persons just like promised and it does not even feel like a too tight fit.For the installation we decided to also get a hammock stand which is sadly not included in the package, but for the price totally understandable. The installation of the hammock was totally easy with the stand, and we had it done in a couple of minutes. I think the installation of the hammock would have been slightly more complicated if we would have done it with trees, but with the hammock stand it was no problem at all.The magazine bag and the cup holder that are included in the package are also a great addition to the set and just make it a lot more comfortable to relax and be able to get a magazine without moving.For now, the hammock has been holding up very well outside, but I would absolutely recommend getting the hammock inside during bad weather to make sure it will last longer.I really enjoy this hammock and would definitely recommend it as an alternative to the usual cloth hammock which get worn out really quickly and also dirty. A great product for a great price!
