I hate tent camping and fell in love with hammocks a few years ago. Two days ago I took this into one of Florida's biggest state parks for a weekend canoe trip and slept in the pond apple trees beside the river. No rain was forecast, and it was a chilly night. Zipper and canopy are intuitive and easy to use in the dark, straps are long and versatile, and the hammock sleeps comfortably even with a rubber mat and sleeping bag inside. This was one of those products I thought needed to exist before I found it. Excellent, easy to carry, and plenty durable for a great price. If you're packing light and tight and going to places where there might be mosquitos, this is the perfect setup.

It does indeed fit two people. We loved it for our first camping trip together. He swore he wouldn’t get in it but he did. It’s as comfortable as one might expect. Pretty durable.

This is described as a 3 in 1 but I've only used it two ways. Obviously I use it as a hammock. It's very spacious on the inside and it is equipped with a bug net which is very useful. There have been several occasions where trees were not available to hang a hammock so I stake it to the ground and use as a tent. I use either trekking poles or tent poles to hang a tarp over it. Now I have a shelter with a bug net that has great air flow. With a properly utilized tarp, I'm protected from the elements. It packs very small, great for backpacking, but it is virtually impossible to get it back into the bag it comes in. Do yourself a favor and pack it into another, larger bag

As soon as it popped out of its pouch, the plastic tip that connects the wire into a circle broke. Now it’s just an exposed sharp wire that will likely poke holes in the hammock when I go to store it. This item is very cheaply made. The idea is nice, but better materials need to be used on future models. I’d be willing to pay more for this design if it was better quality.

First, expectations. This is not a backpacking tent. If you're looking for something you can take into the woods over and over, you won't find it for 30 bucks. These hammocks are meant for indoor use or putting up outdoors for a few hours at a time. They won't hold up in weather, they're not insulated, and the netting in particular doesn't last long. But for the price, these hammocks are great. I bought one for each of my kids. I intended to hang them up outside for occasional use, but we found it better to mount them inside and just leave them up. They love to lie in them and read. Getting in and out over and over has destroyed the bug netting, but we don't need it indoors.Bottom line, you get what you pay for, but if you know what these are they're a very good value.

If you get them on sale (I paid $40) they aren't too bad, but the zipper is super cheap and it's only a matter of time before it goes. I wish I had spent a bit more and gotten one with aluminum poles, as these plastic ones are barely sturdy enough to hold the mesh up. I tries tossing a fly over it but despite it weighing almost nothing the plastic poles collapsed and couldn't hold the weight. They are super comfortable though, and I've gotten some of the best nights sleep in hammocks. The one thing this has going for it over many others is it packs up smaller than most. (I have several and this is the smallest of them all allowing me to pack both a tent, and a hammock on camping/backpacking trips!QUICK PROS/CONS:Pros: Weight Size when packed Hammock material is strong Straps are strong Not having to string the mesh up is a game changerCONS: Zipper is super cheap Poles are plastic and also cheap Price (Not worth $80) I previously bought Martian Hammocks for $26 and they were doubles and much higher quality)That's it! If the maker fixed those two issues they would have a winner for sure!

I lounged in this upside down (with the net under the hammock) and it was comfy except for the support poles sticking up past the edges. I hit my funny bone on one of them and it was not funny. When sleeping in it it in the netting the support poles were great, they gave plenty of room overhead to not feel trapped and kept the bugs out. It is very easy to set up with no guy lines for the net.

Lightweight but seems sturdy. Bug net is great and it does provide protection from the mosquitos. Color hasn't faded and it has been out doors in the sun since summer.

I’m a bit of a hammock freak. I own three Clark Jungle hammocks and many other brands. I wanted something that had a bug net and would basically be disposable to take for a day hike in Hawaii. These fit the bill. At the price point I would be okay if they were only able to be used a few times. To come with tree straps and bug netting for less than $30 was an amazing plus. If you’re looking for durability or super high quality, this isn’t it and it would be unrealistic to expect that at the price point. But it is light and packs flat and has a good pole system to keep the netting up and out of your face. The product video is a good overview of what you are getting. Do I believe these would hold 600 lbs….. questionable, but for a guy that’s 6’2” and 200 lbs this was long enough wide enough and comfortable enough to give it a shot. If I have more to say after using it on the hike I will update.
