Anley Universal Outgoing Mail Mailbox Flag for Brick, Wood, Metal & Stucco
UNIVERSAL FIT
This alter flag kit is made of sturdy plastic, which is compatible with all rural architectural mailboxes. It also works greatly over a solid masonry, brick, wood, metal, or stone surface.
SPECIFICATIONS
This package comes complete with a flag, mounting bracket and 2 sets of fully threaded fasteners. Flag is measured approximately 8-1/4" tall by 1-1/4" wide.
EASY INSTALLATION
Simply screw the flag base to your mailbox, then it is ready to indicate to your mail carrier! A 3/16" bit (for metal surface) or 5/32" bit (for masonry/wood surface) will be needed.
WEATHER RESISTANT
Durable and sturdy polyethylene plastic makes it stand up to both cold and hot climates. Resist fading from prolonged sunlight exposure.

Started out red but a few weeks of summer sun turned it pink and brittle so it snapped.

This was purchased as a replacement flag for the metal one that came with our metal mailbox. Because the red paint on our metal flag was badly peeling off, we chose to replace it rather than repaint it. All of the dimensions and the screw holes of this plastic replacement flag lined up perfectly with our mailbox, so the fit is excellent. HOWEVER, the color of this plastic flag is more orange than it is red, which is disappointing.

Has lasted for several months so far. My lackluster post person stopped picking up my mail w/o a flag. When I asked why she said my mail box was old. Cheap and fades over time but makes a turd.

Ich hätte besser auf andere Rezessionen gehört.Die Farbe geht allerdings ins Orange. Auch die Länge des Fähnchens sntspricht nicht meinen Erwartungen bzw. der orig. (defekten) Fahne, die es ersetzen sollte.Aber, am schlimmsten ist, daß die beschriebene universelle Passform, so universell eben nicht ist.An meinem US Briefkasten passen die Bohrungen jedenfalls nicht und ich müsste ein weiteres Loch bohren, was ich natürlich vermeiden will.Fahne geht zurück.

I bought this to replace a broken flag on a rental's mailbox (I'm the tenant, not the landlord). It worked great and is very easy to install if your mailbox has two mounting holes that are 1" 3/8 apart (center to center). The screws it comes with are long, so I used the shorter screws from the broken flag. The flag is plastic, but as a renter it suits my purposes just fine.

Product said it was red but it’s orange. Not worth the money for the cheap quality. Also, would not have purchased if I knew it was made in China.

The flag came with all parts needed to assemble it, and attach it to the metal mailbox I have. Lacked in the instructions department, but nothing that was too difficult to figure out. Took maybe 15 minutes to install. I love it! Works great!
