Puppet for children in this case means made for a child size hand. Cute and seems well made but small.

These things are great. Cute dogs that my child loves. A mouth that you can open easily enough to talk or chew on toys. They are fun to play with. The hands are a little tight if you are trying to move the mouth and have hand movements. It is possible, but I found it a little restricted. Does my child care? No. Every time these are seen there is so much laughter and many woof woofs. They are an absolute hit for a toddler. If you are a puppeteer then you might be frustrated, but the kids will be happy so it might still be worth it.

Received these puppets last week and my 2 year old grandson loves them. He thought the mouths were hilarious.

My baby (11 months) keeps trying to pull the hair and whiskers off the puppets and well as bite their eyeballs off. The fact that he has failed is a testament to their build quality. The first first the puppets are a bit stiff (mostly in the armpit areas), I would prefer slightly more room for my hands, but as an adult male the fact I can use the puppet and have it fit means the size is adequate. My wife struggles with being able to move the mouth and arms at the same time, but while awkward - is not an issue for me. I also do wish they allowed mix-and-max of animals. Overall a very good product.

One other reviewer commented on how these puppets arrived, crammed into a small plastic bag. Yes, that's true, but I pulled them out and let them sit for a day or two, combed out their "fur" and they look fantastic! Parts of their heads are made of a stiff inner material covered in velour-like cloth, so don't expect them to be super huggable by little ones. That's so that they can hold their shapes (monkey face, crocodile snout, etc.) I'm happy and waiting to see my grandkids' faces when they receive these on Christmas morning!

Si hubiera sabido como venían no las hubiera comprado la boca de la marioneta es muy difícil de manipular no se puede usar al mismo tiempo los brazos y la cabeza, están muy bultosos y duros por dentro

I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these cute little puppets! They are very well put together with quality material that Is very soft! I wish they were just a tad bit longer so it was easier to hide your arm, but they are HAND puppets! Ü And they do cover your hand quite nicely! That being said about the length, I was also surprised at how big and fluffy they were! And such a great variety! Enough to make up some really good "zoo" stories for little imaginations! I really love these little guys! I was also pleased at how quickly we got them too! If you are looking for good quality hand puppets for the little creative minds in your house, these will last a long time! This is a great company!
