Nappy leather and suede should be brushed to restore the nap after dyeing. Many colors of suede dye will work well on smooth leathers but not the reverse.

Bought a pair of AJ1 high OG royal reimagined. Didn’t like the original blue much, so I decided to make it darker and brighter. Absolutely loved the outcome. Attached are the pics of original and after. Definitely use the wool daubers (puffer brush) to apply the dye for flawless effect.

Horrible dye! Ruined a pair of perfectly unused, brand new light colored wedges! So sad:((. It wasn't red at all! It was more of a burnt wood color. Again, NOT TRUE RED. Horrible coverage and washes off very easily. Bad quality paint and bottle. It's functionally is useless. Very expensive for this crap paint. I used a light color shoe, proper material for the dye, and cleaned the shoe prior to painting, and it still messed up so bad.

Angelus dye is a great value, dries quickly, scratch resistant & complete coverage (with the wand).The dye itself is not messy, I am so I had it everywhere! This product functions as it should!

I used this to make my second hand suede shoes a less intense “wine” color. Mixed this with the wine suede dye, the end result was a bit of a slightly neon pink/rose, after several layers of dye. You will want to test it if that is possible. The exact shade was not that important to me, as I got the shoes second hand. I thought the neutral dye might help for future dying projects when I just want to pump up the color a little bit.

Picture above is 3 coats over gray color with 2 coats of waterproof spray on top. Easy to use, easy application, no odor, easy clean up.

This was more purple than I expected. I ended up mixing it with the “red” to give it a more traditional burgundy tint. I’m chalking that up to buying things on the Internet. The dye set well, was easy to apply, and came with an applicator! I bought some of those little wool sticks, and ended up having one in the box so that was very helpful and allowed me to return an unnecessary purchase. Would absolutely order again.

Update 12/2024: the dye looks red in the sunlight 🤦🏻♀️.Just like the title says - it brought my dull-looking suede shoes back to life! I have several black suede shoes (suede t.u.k. creepers) and boots that I wasn't wearing because the black suede had gotten a little faded - I applied this and now the suede looks just how it was when I first bought the shoes/boots! Definitely recommend this product!!

My light grey suede trainers had been ruined in the mud, and the colour was terrible after I cleaned them. With this suede colour I made them look as good as new! I used a small paint brush for fiddly bits like around the shoelace holes and a bigger brush for the rest. Super easy to use. Highly recommended.

This dye breathed new life into an old pair of adidas gazelles. They were originally a nice royal blue suede but over the last 3 years they have faded into a dull gray. This product completely restored them to the most brilliant blue - better than the original. This is the blue of my DREAMS. Yes, the dye is runny - because it’s dye, not paint. If you’ve ever used an aquarelle kit, this is the same watery consistency. Gorgeous color payoff after one coat, but I followed directions and did two. The shoes looked nearly black after application but dried down to the most brilliant, beautiful cobalt blue. The toes ended up slightly darker because they were kind of dark and dirty to begin with but I’m not mad about it as I didn’t take the time to deep clean them beforehand (I did go over them with an eraser and brush out the nap though).A word of caution: THIS STUFF WILL STAIN. Despite using painters tape on the bits I didn’t want to turn blue, I ended up getting a fair amount of drips on the white stripes and the soles. I was able to soak some bits of paper napkins in bleach (scrubbing bubbles foaming bleach, to be exact) squeeze out the excess and press them onto the stains like plaster. After they dried, I peeled them off and the stains were gone. I had to repeat this on a couple of really dark stains but in the end they all came out. The foaming bleach also took out the blue stains in my white sink after I stupidly tried to rinse out the little wool applicator and inadvertently turned my sink blue. So, bleach does work on non-porous and semi-porous surfaces. However, if you drip this on clothes I don’t think any amount of bleach will save you.All in all - EXCELLENT product when used correctly. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Well I took a chance - didn't want to throw away my boots and they look just as new! Love this product goes on so easily and has saved me buying a new pair of boots which I loved.

Great product comes with an applicator. I only used one coat and let them dr yfor couple of hours, turned out brand new again! Will buy in other colours as well.
