This is the shade all the blues should start off with. It has less magenta in it so it doesn’t come off almost purplish like there navy or blue. While I still think fiebings makes a slightly better leather dye this shade of blue is really good for anyone looking for a blue with more cyan in it then magenta.

I read the reviews about the permanence of this dye and took the proper precautions. I used it on a light colored pair of perforated leather slip on sneakers. The outside is kind of suede and the inside is smooth leather. They are wonderfully comfortable shoes but walking on blacktop parking lots, they picked up every dark smudge and looked old and dirty within a couple of months. I didn’t know if the dye would work well on perforated leather but it was worth a try. I cleaned them the best I could with dish detergent (brand instructions said to hand wash) and let them dry completely. I found instructions for dying shoes online. I taped up the white soles to keep them from being dyed. Make sure you tape the soles very well in layers or the dye will migrate. I followed the instructions for dying shoes. The color absorbed into the leather, making it necessary to dye them twice to make sure the color was even. I used the entire bottle. I am pleased with the results. It doesn’t rub off onto my feet or ankles. The blue denim color is wonderful. I need to do some touch up, as it faded along the cuff and the toe box, but maybe not. It is an interesting effect. I haven’t tried to clean them yet because they don’t need it!

I purchased the “blue Jean” blue dye and couldn’t be happier with the results!! It truly made my shoes look brand new! I was a bit worried with how dark it looked when I initially applied it but after it dried it was exactly what I was looking for!Only thing that would have been nice would have been a rough idea of what color to expect outside of just the color description (like paint swabs but dye version)

Yes, this product met my needs. It was truly "blue jean" color. I used it on a pair of leather shoes I have that are the same shade as blue jeans.

Did a great job of changing the shoe color and hiding 98% of the stains. This is denim blue. Easy to use, not messy, did 3 coats = half bottle.

Depending on the size of your purse you may need 2 bottles. They do recommend a pre conditioner which we didn’t order, if you did perhaps one bottle of dye would do it.
