I will say this, the unit came in great packaging and powered on well. Although, this unit is not specifically for the 04-08 Mazda Rx8 but it could work by purchasing a Meta Wiring kit for audio, to be able to use the AC controls, and have a functional top display and Hazard lights. Which is an additional $160+. It does have Apple CarPlay but through a different program so it’s a bit weird.
