My husband and I really like the looks of these glasses, they are quite attractive. They also have substantial weight to them, they are not made of thin fragile glass. We liked them enough to purchase the 16oz. set of 4 as well.

They seem solid and functional, and the seams aren't obvious at first, but once you see them you can't un-see them. You can feel them if you place your fingers over them (some are deeper than others).I've never encountered commercially made glasses with seams before. Definitely not "upscale" as described.(It was hard to get a camera shot where you could distinguish the seam from the lower contours, but I marked the line.)

I chose this tumbler for its cute chubby barrel shape! I like the reed-like pattern on the tumbler too. It is truly sturdy--I have already banged it on things as I rush thru chores and it hasn't chipped.( My former attractive tumblers (a different brand) got chipped top edges so easily.)Even though it narrows from center to bottom, it doesn't tip easily.Its companion larger tumbler isn't quite as appealing a shape, but it is quite attractive too, and it has all the above good qualities. I bought 4 of each. Nice to have a matching glassware set after many years of miscellaneous patterns!

UrsprĂŒnglich habe ich die GlĂ€ser als kleinen Joke bestellt als Fan der Serie "Trailer Park Boys", in welcher der Charakter Julian permanent mit einem dieser GlĂ€ser einen Drink in der Hand hĂ€lt, jedoch wurden sie sehr schnell daheim zum Standard Drink-GefÀà befördert. Robust, liegen sehr gut in der Hand und sehen sehr schlicht aus. FĂŒr Fans der Serie ein Muss, ebenso fĂŒr jene die stabile GlĂ€ser suchen.

Of course, glass breaks!These glasses are appreciated a lot, mainly for the design. However, I think we're going to have to look for more durable drinking "glasses", like plastic ones or such. Not only that but, I remember when I first purchased these - they were cheap then (about 12-15 years ago). Now, not so much. If I remember correctly, these are my 3rd replacements over the course of these 12-15 years. We'll see...
