Step 1:
Unfasten the shoelace, install the incidental laces, pass the tail of the lace through the metal buckle.
Step 2:

Step 3:

These are a must if you have a kid who can't or won't tie his shoes!! (The result of growing up on velcro closures, I'm sure) These come two pair to a pack and have easy to follow instructions. It takes a few minutes to install them, but afterward, the shoes become slip-ons. I thought they were sold as singles, so BONUS!... I get a pair too! And since I always tuck the bows away, these save me that trouble for a clean look.

Maybe I’m doing it wrong but when I screwed the two connectors together, it twists the lace like crazy. So after it’s tight, I have to manually wrench on the lace a bunch of times to get it to rotate within the inside of the clasp. There must be an easier way. 😅 But once straight, they look and feel wonderful. So much cleaner than floppy laces and so much more convenient to put on for casual shoes that don’t need to be very tight.

I’m gradually adding these to all my shoes because I’m too lazy to tie shoes anymore. This is worth the 10 minutes of fiddling with it to put them on. Get it right the first time, but it gets easier each time. The only shoes I’m holding off on are my gym shoes, in case I need to adjust the fit for different type of exercises. I love the color selection, and will likely get more. Anything that saves time, work, or frustration is worth the money. Lazy is a good thing! Stop tying your shoe laces and enjoy life!

Very tedious to get these right. And the instructions need to be clearer; i.e. where does the knot go and if you leave too much cut off and burn it, it won’t fit in the turn buckle. I think the turnbuckle needs to be a little bigger. The end result is nice looking; however, one lace is tighter than the other which is very annoying to me. I could redo the one shoe and try to make it tighter but I don’t know if it’s worth it. Thank goodness I only bought one pair of these laces because I will not buy these again.

I have plantar fasciitis and was told not to go barefooted. These were great so I can slide my shoes on and off. I was surprised that it stayed tight enough for working out in my sneakers as well. They also look good. I thought they would make my shoes ugly but they don't.

It is quite stretchy and as expected. I did not cut and seal it as stated but just used it as a normal lace tied up. I will buy more for other shoes.
