This microscope definitely does NOT magnify 2500x....more like 100x max and only if the slide is almost touching the lens. I'm not able to see any organelles, just the basic cell structure.

This is an excellent microscope. I have had a couple people who work in labs that told me it is better than the one they use at work!

This is ah-maz-ing! I am blown away by the clarity and the detail that this shows! I read the reviews and even though they were good I was still skeptical. I have always purchase microscopes from $25-$65 and they were always really horrible. I have also used a friends microscope that she paid $250 for and it wasn't that great. This is better than the ones I used in school and better than any I have ever used. Seriously. Go buy this right now. Put it in your cart and just purchase it. You won't regret it!

I am (almost) speechless! This is one review I cannot pass up on. For starters I am No Scientist but a 43 year old female geek with kids. Over the last 20 years I have purchased a few microscopes, in the range of 40$ - 80$ and they were all the same short lived novelty like less than average microscopes. Hoping than one would be better than the last but that was never the case. THIS my friend will last FOREVER and ever and become a family heirloom 8) the most valuable and treasured thing to pass on is KNOWLEDGE and the desire to want to learn more. This microscope will not fail to deliver those desires. The picture does no justice for this item. I can't say it is huge but I will say you will not find a microscope of this stature at this price (less than 200$ which was originally over 1000+$) at any school or any kids house. From a shopaholics point of view....Buy this before it is to late! STOP LOOKING this one is amazing! It comes with everything and some. Please ask questions because I could go on and on about this MAGNIFICIENT MICROSCOPE!

I found looking through the binoculars was not as good as I hoped, primarily because of my aging eyes, not because of the lenses. However, using the MD35A Imager Digital camera I was excited to see a much better view which could be saved on PC. The included book is very useful.

My dad ordered this microscope for my daughter's homeschool science classes. The microscope arrived very well packaged forprotection. We were amazed at the quality of the microscope and couldn't be more pleased. It is easy to use and quite fascinatingto see very clear when you look into the eye pieces. We took the microscope to our science co-op class, and the teacher absolutelyloved it. She said she wished she had known about the AmScope before she ordered her microscope because of the high quality. We look forward to using this for many years especially with upcoming high school science classes.
