It is okay. One of the oculars had lent on it right out of the box, the camera is mediocre at best but it worked for what I needed.

This is a fantastic microscope overall. Beware that it does not come with any directions, you'll have to go online for them. Know that you'll find it to be very helpful if you have experience with educational grade microscopes as getting a quality up close view requires practice and patience. My son chose this model specifically due to the ability to connect an included camera to his laptop. Unfortunately we have yet to be able to figure this out. You must go onto Amscope's web page, locate the specific model application, and download/install on your PC. There are several files to choose from but NONE of them are working on his Apple laptop. I am reducing one star for the lack of an instruction manual, and being generous and only reducing one star for the lack of camera support for Mac computers. The microscope itself is a VERY solid product.

Up here are dried blood (I did see cells too!)Really great microscope takes some getting use to but overall really, wonderful have not seen any tardigrades yet hahaha but ill definitely post more pics!!!

I use it four to five times a day on soil and compost analysis. I use an eye glass cleaning kit on it after every use ( quick wipe down). Its mind blowing the stuff living everywhere. Never used one before and got the hang of it after an hour or so. The camera is mediocre and pointless for my use. I wanted to take lots of pics, but it slows me down and I haven’t wanted to learn the software that would probably give better resolution( my iphone camera through the eye piece works just fine ). I will never wonder again why my gardens killing it or dying. I had no idea that something of this quality was in my price range. Accessories bought with it,(slides,test tubes,and eye droppers). I bought way to many. I always carry a test tube with me everywhere I go now. You never no when you might find that perfect mycorrhiza. Why is that guys yard so green? Now I know! Thanks Amscope.

The microscope was broken on arrival. Went to return it and it said it would take a week to get the money back. Needed it for a science project. Now I'm going to have to open this piece of crap up and figure out the problem myself. They have little to no instructions included with the microscope also.EDIT: After I had gone to do a return the website said that the return would be issued to the original method of payment. This microscope was a gift.

Camera that comes with it is not very good. Other then that the microscope works great. For the price i guess you couldn't expect a decent camera. I just purchased a new camera for mine. Overall it works great and easy to use.
