I bought this tool not for its intended automotive purpose. I have a Sheer Descent waterfall accent in my swimming pool. The waterfall always gets clogged with debris and makes the waterfall unattractive. I had been using long nylon ties to snake down into the narrow opening to dislodge debris. Lately, the debris has been tougher to remove. This tool was able to do the job! I do not know how it would perform for locked car doors. One reason for the minus one star is because the manufacturer partially folds the tool up to get it to fit in the shipping bag. This puts a big dent in the tool. I also bought the Doughty Professional Auto(VR_124) tool. This tool shipped in a straight package and was not mangled. Also seemed wider. But for my purpose, this did not matter.
