The bike received was missing parts, and on Christmas morning, a child wants to ride their new bike, which didn't happen. I had to return it.

The bike itself is awesome. However, the instructions included were for a totally different bike. Thank goodness for the assembly video in the description on Amazon.

Works perfectly and it’s just the right size for her with room to grow! She had no problem with the gear changes either.

My 3 year old really, really wanted a bike as he has grown tired of his trike and balance bike. He is a bit of a daredevil that has no fear, so this kind of terrified me. So I wanted something that looked solid and could take a tornado of a toddler on, without falling apart of tipping over just because the wind blows.I have looked for the last few months but when I saw this bike I thought it might be good for him since it looked solid and the tires were wider than average bikes. We live in Northern Minnesota where it snows a lot and potholes are about as plentiful as the chew spit on the ground. Basically there's a lot. But also was the fact this would last longer than just a year or two. He's at that age where you can get a smaller toddler bike with training wheels, but would outgrow quickly.I was worried this might be too big for a 3 year old however it turned out perfectly.Putting it together was not too hard (my husband did most of that part to be honest) and as soon as it was built he was on it and excitedly riding around the living room. He can barely reach the floor on his tippy toes, but the bike is stable and doesn't move when he jumps up to sit down. He has done some bizarre acrobatics on this bike and it still stayed upright and didn't falter at all. Pretty impressive.About the kit included to put it together: there are instructions included that are easy to follow and all tools and parts are included. Even the screwdriver and gloves! It also includes reflectors but I could only put one on the front since the rear one could not fit due to the seat being at the lowest possible position. Cute stickers too which I thought was a neat bonus. After the living room test run, it took less than 5 minutes for him to master and he was riding (while closely tailed by us huffing and puffing) down the alleyways as fast as his little legs could pedal.I'm not ready for the training wheels to come off, even though he declared he is. But this has proven to be a very good, beginner friendly bike that will last for years. It is well put together, the training wheels are steady and not shaky like others I've seen and he really does love this bike a whole lot. So I honestly have nothing negative to say about it. I am happy that this is his 1st bike. It's given him a lot of confidence (maybe too much?) and is a good bike for kids and overly anxious parents like me due to it's structure and quality.
