This heating element only lasted a year with minimal use. This unit does not have a warranty. I would advise in the future to purchase only OEM parts. They're more reliable and durable.

I went to the Whirlpool site to verify this was the correct replacement P/N for my oven, and I saw that Whirlpool wanted over twice the price for theirs. This one arrived two days later, on a Sunday, via USPS. The only difference between this one and the 20 year old original seemed to be the mounting plate, but it still fit with no issues. The leads in my oven were long enough that I didn’t have to worry about them retracting behind the oven wall when I disconnected the old one, nor did I have to remove the oven door. So far it seems to be working great.Update: failed after 3 weeks

Seems to be a Good product. Just installed day one heated right up to 350. Install was easy as far as this part goes. Whirlpool thou would be nice to have longer lead wires, plus maybe a little thicker and a better attachment mechanism. My complaint is with whirlpool, cheap manufacture. Also to another commenter this product does not come with screws the description doesn’t say anything about coming with screws. Just make sure you hold on to original screws or if you want them to be shiny get some new screws when you order this. Most products I buy from Amazon are usually hit or miss. If this lasts a year I’ll be happy. The original product from whirlpool costs $100. This replacement was $30. So there you go. Also watch a YouTube video about installing this replacement, it really made this so easy.
