The Bake Element is for electric ovens on ranges and replaces W10289097, PS11703285, W10774342. Please be aware that it is recommended to use saftey equipment and to disconnect the appliance from all utilities prior to any service or repair. Please refer to your owners manual to confirm part numbers and for instructions as some repairs require a trained service professional to complete.

It's usually worth the money because they fit most of the time. It might have taken 5 minutes to replace mine with this one. Was identical to the one I replaced.

The new heating element was a perfect fit and has been working nicely since installed.From start to finish was about 30 minutes. The actual install took maybe 15 minutes. It took longer to clean all the dirt and dust from under the stove once I slid it out than it did to do the install.Definitely Recommend this Part

And here’s the crazy part-I’ve got a Maytag oven, but whirlpool/maytag all the same company. This resolved my oven not heating properly issue and the part was an exact fit. So do your research and DIY. Save yourself a ton of $$. This would’ve cost $3,4,500 bucks to hire someone to do what I did myself. And it only cost me $45 and change. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.

Good product, fair price. Everything was as advertised. I was able to fix my oven without a service call. I was worried it could have been damaged as packaging was not strong and the element was slightly warped. Straightened it by hand, installed and we are back to cooking in the oven! Purchased months ago and still working!

I have a Maytag Range; the oven quit working. My experience with service technicians is that it usually takes two (2) service calls; the first to diagnose and order the parts and the second to install the parts after they are received.I thought, how about I troubleshoot the problem? Through the magic of the Internet, I came to conclusion that it was the lower heat element that failed. Great, I will order a new one. This same heat unit is also used in Jenn-Aire and Whirlpool. In the interest of OEM must be better, I ordered the Whirlpool equivalent (vs. a third party of unknown quality). Sure, the Whirlpool unit is probably the same factory as every third-party knockoff that looks exactly the same for $20 less, but piece of mind for the OEM part isn't usually a bad idea either.And while troubleshooting, I realized how easy it was to replace DIY. I spent more time researching Internet than it took me to replace it.All screwed back together, and my oven works. I am happy. The first one lasted 9-years (2013-2022); lets see how long the replacement lasts. For now, not sure the OEM name (Whirlpool) is worth the premium? But considering the cost of a service call, the time it takes to get a technician out, and that I was able to DIY and save both I paid extra for the OEM name.

Item received before expected delivery date. It is the right replacement for my oven. It is already installed and working. It was confusing to read the specification of the element but after asking the seller and providing him with the model number of my oven it was the right element but, the description was still have the wrong measurement which does not make sense.

It's a pretty basic product review. It just works. On a side note for anyone looking at buying one, these are extremely easy to install. Took me just a couple minutes and gave me an chance to clean under the oven which took longer than the installation did

I looked at many other sites and this was by far the lowest price. I was very pleased when the package arrived (on time) and see that it’s a genuine Whirlpool/Maytag part and not some foreign knock off. Always nervous to part match a part number with some sites, but the part fit my oven as hoped and dropped in like a glove. Thank you for saving me close to $50!! Would buy again from this seller 100%

I ordered this for my Maytag oven when the lower element went out just over a week ago. It is the replacement part for the original. The original was part number W10289097. In my searching i found that this model was less expensive that the original part. This model has one mounting bracket in the front instead of the two in the middle otherwise the elements look the same to me. It installed and replaced the original with no issues. After i installed it, the oven preheated just as fast if not faster than before the original element broke. There is a bit of smell coming off the new element, but i am told that is to be expected and will go away after heating it up a few times.The mounting bracket was slightly bent when it arrived but i was able to straighten it out and install it with no issues. In spite of that issue, I am happy with this product.
