Look exactly like the one the fridge came with. Easy enough to change every six months, water filter timer built into the fridge acts as a reminder for both filters.

Just bought a new Whirlpool 2 thousand dollar frig. Came with NO air filter, said the factory hadinstalled one, DID NOT. Had to guess to get one that fit, owner's manual was useless. Manual hadabout 15 different refrigerators all together, finally found these and they fit perfectly. Can't adviseyou of the quality of reducing odors yet, haven't had them long enough, but I will. So far, they dofit, extremely easy to install, appear to be made with quality. If you need a filter such as these, Iwould give them a try. You get 6 for around 18 dollars with tax. If they perform well, I will continueto buy them from this seller...

These were a great buy and fit perfectly. They don't have any charcoal dust, snap in easily and appear to be good quality. No, they don't have the indicator strip but why pay so much more for something that is easy to remember. The indicator is a gimmick...if you have lots of smelly foods, your refrigerator will stink before the indicator fades. Your nose should tell you when to change filters if not a routine change by date!
